When I was there on a Friday early evening after work there are italian snacks out that you can help yourself to freely if you order a glass of wine or a beer. Think some lentils, pasta salad and a grilled mortadella panino. There was a jazz band playing Miles Davis covers. There are also tons of books (for sale? to read with a cup of coffee?) and imagine it is good for lunch. Very popular with the Italian community - and for good reason. If you need a reminder of the Mediterranean lifestyle in cold-ass Northern Europe, this is the spot to go.

The restaurant has a selection of more or less 10 starters , 10 main dishes. Starters are very pricey for the quantity/ quality ... if they would have been the killer starters then you say: well it was worth it and yummmyyyyyyy ... we took the tuna carpaccio, and it was soaked in olive oil and spices, the carpaccio was sliced so thin you couldn't even taste the tuna.. on the contrary main dishes are quite good and filling - the main dish i took Vongole Pasta. each restaurant prepares them differently but they were good. i love the fact the clams tasted so fresh, like "just fished out of the sea", just for that i say BRAVO. the wine of the house was decent and tasty. with the starter and the main dish there is hardly space for a dessert, but I will return for sure in order to try others specialities of the house

Entering the place, we had a polite and friendly welcome. The atmosphere was very cozy and classy, we had enough table space (especially if you're seated near the window) with perfect chairs. Since we've decided to eat fast, we just ordered the main meal. My husband ordered a pasta with beef and I've ordered the infamous spaghetti alle vongole. We were served quite fast as there weren't a lot of table. We had free bread with two sorts of oil. One is a classic olive oil and the other one was spicy (very spicy). We then received our orders, at first I thought that the portion was a bit limited (15 shells) but I was quite surprised because it was just sufficient. The sauce was appetising and it enhances the taste. Poops Corner : Clean dark tiles restroom situated under the restaurant. A nice view going to the toilets where you'll find funky decoration such as a wall of green soaps. The toilets where clean and enough toilet paper. Automatic hand wash and a strong hand dryer. Overall : The price is right for what you order, nice taste, the ambiance and service was friendly and the decoration is funky, the original external wall of the house is now inside the restaurant which gives a certain style to the place. A good place to go with friends and family.
