I was a walk-in and overlooked for 40 minutes until I reminded them I was still waiting. Finally, I was placed in a chair for a pedicure. She had me soak my feet in cold water. She didn't exfoliate my feet. And she charged me more than what was listed on the menu. So I pretty much paid 75$ for a cold foot soak and painted nails. I will never return to this place. I stopped by Polson Nail & Spa to get my nails done while on a trip with my family. I'd say I have pretty high expectations (I get my nails done pretty consistently), and the staff exceeded my expectations with how sweet and professional they were. I got a full set and the person who did my nails was super patient and meticulous. They took their time helping decide on the perfect color for my nails (and they have a large selection!), my acrylics were shaped well and weren't too thick or thin. My nails were a 10 a 10/10 scale after visiting! Manucurist: Huong. Sweet lady. She's very welcoming and one of the owners of the store. She was very careful with my nails and cut them without bending the nail and hurting me. Takeaways: 1. The workers wear masks here and they have complementary hand sanitizer. That's super important to me because they have to physically touch you to work on your nails. So because they take the extra time to keep their hands sanitized, all the better. 2. They use a special clipper to cut your nails and not the regular clipper which doesn't bend the nail and hurt. It's super cool! And worth the money every two weeks or so when I got to clip the nails and toes and polish them. 3. They have complementary candy that you can't find in Polson otherwise. I've stopped by this establishment on 3 separate occasions and have been told no availability, despite walk-in appointments being available. There were only two clients in the place, so I'm thinking discriminatory practices based on either perceived sexual orientation or another category. They obviously have some strange screening criteria. It was early in the morning and I saw at least 4 staff just sitting around. I've been going here for about a year now with only a couple mishaps, but i went here for the very last time today. Scheduled a pedicure for my boyfriend and a full set of acrylics for myself for 12:30 PM. The lady doing my boyfriends pedicure was supposed to do my nails immediately after.. Well she starts my nails @ 1:30 and immediately rips a chunk of skin from my finger, when it started bleeding badly she said "oh just a bad hang nail, she then passed me off to another worker who was currently working on someone else. By 1:45, the male tech had gotten the plastics on and I tried to tell him one was crooked, he tells me to wait for the acrylic to fix it, when it was still crooked after the acrylic and I mentioned it, he got very angry and started yelling, he also got aggressive with my hands and nails. I don't know if it's just me but I had a horrible experience here. They got me in rather fast. But, when they got me in the ic asked for design and I proceeded to showed the nail tech what kind of nail shape and design I wanted and the lady just brush through the design and the design didn't look that well the lady also forgot to put a topcoat on my nails. She didn't shape them how I really wanted to I told her an almond shape nail and she gave me a real bulky square shape. I only came here because my nail tech was an hour away and they were full. I thought if I could go somewhere cheaper and closer that it would be a great experience and I won't have to go far away from my nails .After I had left I talk to my friend who also told me her experience. I have sadly been very disappointed in this Salon after going here for years. Not welcomed- had to wait 15 min in empty lobby and my polish change to toes which were clear was $30! They had done average pedicure in a rush the week before although I scheduled...and 3 others being helped (not very well) at the same time. I could not select color to finish then. Today I also received a less than ave chellac manicure- polish is not even smooth and not sure implements were clean, water ice cold- simply awful. I was concerned at my pedicure week before that the sponge was old and instrument being reused unsterile. My bill today for chellac manicure and toe polish change was $70! and seriously mad at myself for tipping $10. I will not return to this salon. read more

I have never left a negative review because I'm pretty forgiving. Maybe it's just because I'm not from here that I don't know what level of service to expect. But I waited for one hour after my scheduled appointment before they started my nails, got a rushed pedicure, and tried to charge me an extra $10 because I painted my 4-year-olds nails while she patiently sat in my lap waiting that entire time. I was going to pay them to steep $17 to paint her nails but it took so long we didn't have time. No acknowledgement or apology for the wait. I'm from Seattle. Service is much better. I got a mani pedi and neither of the colors I picked look even remotely close to the model...you know the gel and dip nails you use to pick the color. I decided to go back on my birthday this past october only to be disappointed again with the worst nails i've ever seen. Then, I made an appointment today for a pedicure. Loved this place! Visiting Polson for vacation and desperately needed a acrylic nail fill. This place looked good on Google and it was! Rachel did my fill and she was super! I loved her work and the "feel" of the shop so much I added a deluxe pedicure and Helen was AMAZING! Best I've ever had. I may have to drive up from Missoula from now on for my nail care! The interior is very inviting...they even have hangers behind each massage chair to hold your purse! They have cold water, coffees, teas and even white and red wines! This is exactly the type of environment that I want to be pampered in! Did you run out of time on the way to your appointment? No problem because they have coffee, water and wine! The staff are super friendly, accommodating and always professional. They want you to leave feeling great and Anne the owner makes sure that happens. She always on-point, but if I've ever wanted something changed - like adding a bit of last minute bling or had a chipped nail a week later due to my own fault she comes to my rescue.
