Great crew, great space, plenty of street parking, lots of space and the owner is vegan! What more could you ask for.

Pollution Studios is awesome. They have been my source for grip and electric on almost every project i've ever done. They are always super nice guys and very easy to work with. They have always been willing to work with me to get me what I need and at the price I need it. They have even come in on SUNDAY just to let me grab some emergency items (though I did return the favor with a cold 12-pack). Awesome dudes. solid gear. Just good people to know. And way easier to get to than some places in the valley i've had to shoot at. Only 15 min from my place in silverlake. read more

Pollution Studios = Love. In all seriousness, they love their profession. They love being a part of the creative process. They love (AND are BEYOND capable) of supporting both established professionals and artists on the come up. Here are the nitty gritty low down dirty facts: I have produced one shoot on location at Pollution and another offsite in association with Pollution. Shoot on Pollution Sound Stage: Produced a commercial shoot for a client on ZERO (well minimal) notice with the Pollution team. Shoot was a huge success. Client was so impressed it won us the next two jobs from same client. This shoot was entirely green screen. Asher one of founders served as our DP / Cam Operator. One of his team served as multi-purpose Grip/Electric/Sound. Pollution connected us with a DIT/Editor who was available at our budget. Loved that vegan catering and crafty options exist. Shoot with Pollution as Studio Partner: The only thing to say here is that we owe Pollution a deep debt of gratitude for their production efforts in association with our feature. They were instrumental. True professionals and a pleasure to collaborate with in creating under duress. Pollution will be our go to partner moving forward. Well done y'all. Stay up. read more

My time at Pollution studios was absolutely stellar. The staff was incredibly helpful and professional. They were responsive to all of our needs while we were using the space. The whole process from booking to our time on the stage was seamless. I would certainly recommend Pollution Studios to anyone who asks. Thanks again guys! Be back soon! read more

Love Pollution Studios!!!!! Big Bang for the Buck with multiple stages to chose from and full lighting and gaff gear seconds away. Owners have great crew available to assist which is nice having someone that's familiar with the facility on hand. Can't wait to shoot again at Pollution Studios. Shot here recently for a Nickelodeon spot. Great operation. Alex, the gentleman in charge of all the lighting and grip was extremely helpful and it's really convenient that they have a large selection of lighting and grip. Facilities are well maintained and all their staff was great. Would shoot here again in a second. read more

I have shot a music video, show for The Food Network and a short film at Pollution. They are a well-stocked soundstage with incredibly friendly prices and the people that work there are excellent to deal with. I've always had the equipment I need ready, been able to gather or subrent extra equipment and found that my needs were catered to by the Pollution staff. I've always been treated like family here, from my first shoot and that is why I do and will continue to keep bringing them my business. read more

I've produced 3 shoots at Pollution, all different budgets. The place is great - amazing people willing to help out in anyway they can. They have good equipment and good rates, so I often consider it a one stop shop. They've also introduced me to great crew members who've filled in for us when we're down a man - I now continue to work with those people. Oh, and they have a shop too, so if you hire Ben (one of the founders) as your Production Designer, you've got art department prepping on stage - it is ideal. read more

First time I shot at pollution was for a short film about 4 years ago. Since then I call them first for every project I'm apart of. Asher is truly a stand up guy and the entire crew over there always has a great attitude. Very knowledgable, accommodating and all around good people. The space has grown over the years and I guarantee they will continue to grow- you are in good hands with pollution always!! So glad I stumbled on them!!! read more

I hired this space recently - and they were so accommodating - a real cool relaxed vibe. great bedside manner - customer service second to none - They care about filmmmakers and the craft. - David, Asker, Leanne and the team are awesome. - Check it out! read more

I have never seen so many handsome grips, and electrics in one studio in my life. Great people to work with, the equipment is well kept and managed, the studio space has nice silent AC, and high ceilings, perfect for building medium to large sets. All around great experiences renting from and working through these guys. They also have great recommendations for grip and lighting crew if you are short staffed. The owner Asher, and his rental manager David are great people! Graham Robbins Dp read more

Pollution Studios is a great place to shoot any of your projects. We had a commercial shoot on the Main Stage there and it went by so smoothly. They were willing to do a walk through anytime and were accommodating with everything else we needed. There's also a large kitchen area and client/screening room that was helpful. You can rent all your grip and electric gear from them along with other production supplies. The friendly, knowledgable staff and the reasonable rates on their stages will keep Pollution our go-to place for all productions. read more

Love Pollution! I have been in the space several times for various events. They are a bunch of good people who are super passionate about what they are doing. Also, I recently rented audio gear and, although they had a big shoot going on at the time, they were very flexible on pick up and very efficient to get me everything I needed. I will definitely be renting from them again! read more

I admit, I have worked for Pollution, but I have also been on the client/customer end of things at this studio as well, and they've got everything you need at great rates and prices. Yes, the atmosphere could use a little work, but for independent films, music videos, and commercials, Pollution has what you're looking for to get the job done. I've heard rumours of "hidden costs" by other customers, but to all producers out there: read the paper work and don't blame it on the studio!! It's all on the website and hard copies are on hand. These owners and employees are some of the friendliest in Los Angeles, and it's impossible to verbally explain everything you want to know. Just read the fine print! I would absolutely recommend Pollution, especially with their new North wing studio! read more

Pollution studios saved me so many times. Great people.

Had a couple of shoots there, great people, very helpful and professional. Wonderful accommodations and huge spaces to shoot.

Pollution Studios! My favorite place to shoot. I've worked at Pollution on a number of projects. They are accomodating for any size project with any size budget. The guys at Pollution always find a way to make it work-- the owners have backgrounds working as crew, so they understand the frustrations, complications, and problems that arise during production. They work hard to make every client feel like their utmost priority. They appreciate your business and make a huge effort to keep you. Their facilities are also great! They have a white cyc, a chroma cyc, two stages, flats for rent, G&E packages-- the works! They also have a number of offices and spaces for the production side of things. Pollution really is the total package. If you have a project and need the facilities, expertise and equipment to make it, go to Pollution. It's warm and welcoming and a pleasure to show up for work there. read more

Pollution Studio rocks! I recently produced a short and was allowed to use the large green screen stage. I have never worked with green screen before and found everyone so helpful and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this place. read more

Pollution rocks! I am a makeup artist and I've worked on a handful of productions at the studio including a music video, photo shoots and a commercial. Working with the guys at Pollution were some of the best experiences I've had in the last 6 years in this industry. Ben and Asher are professional, prepared, accommodating and incredibly kind and easy to work with. While on location, the Pollution crew was super present and I didn't have to waste precious time tracking them down for any needs that arose. Meals are on time and tasty with both vegetarian and meaty options...yum! At the studio, I had everything I needed; they have makeup/wardrobe rooms ready and waiting with extra director's chairs which I love... I would recommend them to anyone looking to shoot, rent gear, or both. They really bent over backwards for me and made the shoot days really stress free. Their passion for what they do and the crews they employ is evident. Big thumbs up. read more

I've shot at Pollution Studios on multiple occasions and EVERY single time... i have been beyond pleased. Coming from a heavy independent film background (nearly a decade in varying degrees of the industry) - Pollution is my ideal studio situation. Asher and the entire team have always been nothing but helpful, have had my back and the back of the entire production. They've worked with me on my budget, my kit and my schedule. I couldn't possibly ask for more in an indie studio. They have a fun vibe within the studio, edgy and professional. Parking was easy, shoot was fun, we have always had what we've needed when we worked with Pollution. It's not like shooting at a studio, it's like shooting with a full production company. Thank you so much, Pollution, for always being so accommodating and having everything i've needed. Thanks guys. Always. So so much love. read more

I have worked at Pollution a number of times over the past few years, mostly on music videos, short films, and commercials. The facilities are well-suited to a variety of independent production needs including an ever-increasing amount of grip and lighting gear, post facilities, a scene shop, makeup and wardrobe rooms, and a client room with an HD monitor so you can send a feed from your camera to a dedicated space rather than having to rent a separate client monitor and find a corner of your set that would otherwise be used for production. They've made some serious capital improvements and are continually reinvesting to make the experience better for their customers. While they do cater to some higher end clients, the bread and butter of their business has been the independent film community. The guys who run the place think of film as a grand communal endeavor and treat new clients as additions to the ever-growing "Pollution family." They are very loyal to said family members. To that end their rates make them one of the best values for money in the business and they can and will work with productions on nearly any budget. They are very loyal and have even been known to barter services in lieu of traditional payment with friends and repeat customers. If you need a stage or production services for your project you're crazy not to check them out and ask for a quote. read more

Pollution is such a pleasure for all size productions. I am a freelance producer who has had only great experiences with the gear, space and staff here. On my lower budget jobs they have worked with me to meet my gear and space needs in the price range I can afford. In a pinch they have prepped packages that would take other houses hours to pull. Pollution is founded and run by film makers and they foster a sense of community, accommodating you and your project so that you can make your pretty pictures and tell your stories. I have also hosted fundraising events with live music here and they have that down to a science. I saw another post here about issues with permitting, but it must have been the nature of that particular event, because ours was permitted and a seamless operation. On a bigger budget video I did this fall we used basically every space at Pollution. They have 2 buildings now with lots of looks and inherent production value. It is a dream to have all of your G&E needs right on site so that you know you are covered no matter what happens. Not to mention the make-up and wardrobe rooms and other comfortable amenities. Thank you Asher, Ben, Corey& David for all of your help over the last couple of years! And for your wonderful social events. So proud to be part of the Pollution Family! read more

I recently rented equipment from Pollution for a short film shoot and they were great. The equipment is all nicely tagged with purple Pollution stickers so it's easy to keep organized. Working at Pollution Studios was AMAZING. We needed to use their white cyc and it looked fantastic on film. Everyone was very accommodating and kind and very organized. It was a real pleasure being there. And not only that, but the space was beautiful! So many amenities (green rooms, kitchen, couches...) I would definitely go back. Highly recommend! read more

Pollution Studios is a great place to work. Top notch all around!

I love working with Pollution. I've done 3 or 4 shoots on their stages and a few more just renting equipment from them. They are great for lower budget shoots in that they will do their best to work with what you have. They have nice talent holding areas and plenty of space for production to set up shop. The people who work at Pollution are super friendly and always helpful! I can't recommend them enough. read more

As a director who works in the music video, viral and ad world, Pollution has proven to be the perfect one stop shop for filming. All the guys there are great and they've put together a great studio with all the gear, lighting equipment, production design shop and chill atmosphere to make each experience good and easy. I've sent piles of people their way. It makes sense that I finally write a review! read more

I recently shot a music video on Pollution's white cyc. They are affordable and yet they still have great facilities. All the other stages that I checked out in the same price range were pretty ghetto, so Pollution was such a great find. It's run by filmmakers, so they totally understood what I needed in terms of lighting and grip gear and were super supportive of the project. I will definitely shoot there again soon. read more

Pollution Studios is the ideal place to meet your film needs. Service is beyond professional--at Pollution, you're not just a client--you're family. Great equipment, good options for all budgets, and super experienced and helpful staff. There is no question that you are in good hands at Pollution. As an independent producer working in Los Angeles, it's hard to find a one stop shop/ studio like Pollution Studios. They are able to work with your budget and help provide a fantastic shooting environment. Even when I've had a tricky shoot, they have taken the time to brainstorm a solution, very helpful when in the production grind. Their employees are generally very amicable and helpful. I have shot there a couple of times and plan on going back with my business. Daddy likes! read more

Such a relaxed and professional crew. Asher and David were available to us throughout our scouting process and on the day as well. Our stage manager Kyle was a total rockstar. They have great gear, and are generous with all the little extras. They even helped us avert disaster with last-minute tarp and sandbag protection as an unexpected storm came through and threatened to rain out our exterior shot! A well-manicured welcoming space, well stocked, and well-staffed. And if you work with them... they'll start inviting you to their parties. Which are. Bananas. Thanks for being such a great team, guys. read more

Pollution Studios is great! I was in a couple of commercials that were shot there and as an actress I couldn't have asked for a better environment and group of people! I feel very blessed to have had the chance to work with them. My standards were definitely raised after my experience with Pollution. They are top-notch in EVERY way. read more
