What do you do, however, when you can't stomach another Telepizza? When the very thought of McDonald's turns your stomach? Clearly the only option left to you is to phone up a chicken roaster and have them bring some deliciousness around. That's right, roasted chicken. Sure they also will whip up a hamburger in a hot minute, with fries, for two-fifty, but the chicken's where all the love is. That chicken turns in the roaster, weeping its fatty juices, for a long time. Graciously, when you call them and they answer "Hola corazon!" or "Hola campeon!" they know without your asking that you want those very juices included in your meal. You can order an entire chicken with a ration of fries (a lot of fries) for eleven euros. That's enough food for two or three people, and you can just drizzle all that liquefied chicken fat all over your fries for best results. It always comes in about "cuarenta minutitos" as they say, except this one time when they forgot my order. I waited an hour and a half because I trusted them, because Casa Adela had proven itself to me, and finally I had to call in and ask "Dude, where's my chicken?" Sure they felt bad and a chicken arrived in minutes flat, but I had already forgiven the mistake! There's a little community of folks that hang out down at the restaurant and I have no doubt that they struck up some conversation or other and just got wrapped up in it and forgot about my chicken. No worries! It happens! I think I ate that whole chicken myself. Casa Adela as a restaurant space is...intimate, meaning it's tiny and a place where the local people like to hang out and shoot the breeze. What's strongest is the delivery service, so opt for that. I have seen Adela herself in there during the day (she's legendary, a REAL Madrilena), and at night an amiable long-haired guy (her son?) works the counter. All-in-all they're great people and serve up a mean roasted chicken, and the fries are pretty good too.

Please avoid eating here at all costs. I won't go into details, but if it keeps up, he will require hospitalisation. If this is the case, I'll certainly have something to say to the Manager. Standard Bocadillos are fine, we've both eaten them on numerous occasions. We are 100% certain that the food here was the cause of the poisoning, as he and I both ate the exact same meals in the lead up to and after the incident, with this being the only meal not shared. Strongly recommend against eating here.
