It is an unprofessional environment for the kids and people who take their job seriously. Things will not change unless KCA does a deep reflection in the mirror and gets serious about their business. Director is rude when you bring up issues to her, has enjoys creating drama, no self awareness, lacks boundaries, and has no interpersonal skills. Go somewhere else, this place is not it!

We can no longer recommend this center. We have removed our child out of safety concerns and…read morereported them to the state and county licensing authorities. The lead teacher of the toddler room, Atsupi Anthony, gave our 16 month old a cup of laundry detergent which she tried to drink, in addition to dish soap and hand soap. The only reason we know it happened is that she sent us a photo of it with a caption describing it. The Friday before this incident we had spoken to the director about other concerns with Ms Anthony's judgement. I observed her yelling to another teacher not to give a toddler food after his cheese stick fell on the floor ("he needs to learn a lesson and not drop he food") He's under 2, kids drop things. The director said she would investigate and counsel Ms Anthony, that we should trust her because she has many years of experience and parents love her. We notified the regional manager about the laundry detergent and Bright Horizons has, in accordance with their HR policy, decided to counsel her and leave her in charge of the class. Their policy is to counsel, reprimand and then terminate. The regional manager said that Ms Anthony doesn't have anything in her record, that the yelling incident was not recorded and they have to start with counseling her. I'm not sure you can counsel good judgement into someone and am not going to let her practice with my child. For these reasons we are concerned that Bright Horizons does not take safety seriously and have chosen to remove her.

Our three year old is immensely loved here, the teachers are all wonderful and encouraging, the facility is under new management and being run beautifully, and the difference we see in our son since starting is unbelievable. He is so happy. He practically leaps out of the car every morning and doesn't want to go home at the end of the day because he loves this home away from home so dearly. We see how proud he is of himself in the strides he's making learning here. To say the staff is becoming extended family is an understatement. We are forever grateful for this experience and will be so sad when it is time to move on to Kindergarten. Being a teacher, I am fortunate to receive a 10% discount on tuition which is so appreciated. After looking into multiple programs, the tuition cost with TLE is very fair, and worth every single penny in the way our son is so well cared for. We receive updates all day on an app to tell us what he is eating/doing/learning/playing, keeps us up to date on his potty training progress (which is going very well thanks to their consistency!), and the photos show how well engaged he is all day long. At the beginning, I was nervous about heading back to work after my maternity leave ended and leaving such a young baby in the care of other people for 7-8 hrs a day. By the end of his first week at PSOC, I felt so much better and my guilt had subsided! The staff and his teachers empathized and were there to talk me through any questions or concerns I had. They made it such a smooth transition, and I felt confident leaving him in their care. Over two years later, I've consistently had great interactions with the leadership team, staff, and teachers. They adore my son, and the most important thing of all is my son LOVES to be at PSOC! He is happy and continues to learn at an astounding pace, always coming home with new phrases and words he learned at school, or art projects he completed with the teachers. COVID-19 has been challenging for all of us, but PSOC has went above and beyond during this difficult time. They have been communicative, transparent, and followed safety protocols. That's all we can really ask for, and I've been impressed by the way they have handled the pandemic. We'll unfortunately be moving to California this summer of 2021, and I'm already starting to look for new preschools for my son. It's been so hard to find somewhere as great as PSOC - we will miss them dearly! One feature we especially appreciate is the SproutAbout app. It's a great way to stay connected throughout the day by viewing classroom updates and photos of our child. The app also provides the daily schedule, breakfast and lunch menus, and other important updates, making it easy to know what's happening even while we're at work. Having access to the classroom cameras also gives us added peace of mind. The leadership team has always been responsive whenever we've had questions. Their spotlight on kindergarten to prepare my daughter for kindergarten next year is extremely helpful and takes the load off of us to prepare her! I feel like their tuitition is very fairly priced. They have the best celebrations for birthdays and other holidays. Their recent trick or treat was a super hit party and was enjoyed by parents and kids!
