Let me preface this review by saying I've never had a sushiritto before so I have no point of comparison. The restaurant itself is very well decorated and there's ample space I would say. The wallpaper is my favorite thing about the restaurant. As for the menu they have both sushi burritos and poke bowls. I went for the Kahea which is chicken with an array of veggies and rice. I upgraded to the combo which allowed me to choose a drink (got the peach tea). I have to say the times I've had seaweed in France it isn't salty so that for me kind of takes away from the authentic seaweed flavor itself. Albeit the food was very filling and satisfying I felt like I lacked that flavor explosion I was expecting and felt that it needed a dip so I asked for some hot sauce and although I asked for Sriracha I got a weird version of it but it definitely helped. The peach tea was pretty good and not too sweet. All in all, it's good for a quick bite if you're on a times schedule and don't want to bother with table service. I wouldn't necessarily go back here either though!

My husband had the "porcelet coco" and raved about this dish with slow cooked pork, coconut milk, and sweet potatoes. My "chai men" was also very tasty. This was s fun change of pace.

An by the way, was it Tahitian or Haitian food? It sure did not help that the waitress did not speak English, neither that we did not speak French. However, when the chef who did speak English, came out to us in order to explain the alien menu and brought us a taste, we knew we had found the perfect place. The food was superb. Pure flavors of coconut, rice and banana was combined in a complex and accurate way. We were stunned over this 3 course Polynesian food, as google now had told us it was. There wasn't the slightest hesitation about improvising a 3 course vegan menu for me. And the chef sure did know what he was doing. I had a sweet potato sallad with coconut milk and tropical fruit for starter, a lovely noodle main course and hot banana compote for desert. Brilliant, every piece of it. Why a missing star then? The food was everything here. The interior was neat but boring and the place lacked decorations and details to make the atmosphere inviting and truly enjoyable. Except from the chef, the service was a teasing distraction. But that might be due to our different languages. I truly recommend this place overall. Had one of my best evenings in Bordeaux here!

We got there at 7pm and I'm glad we had the early reservation because it was a 3-hour dining extravaganza. Service is 5 stars! Absolutely top notch. We don't speak French and had absolutely no problem here. Notes.... 1) there is no menu 2) they can and do accomodate preferences and allergies... Love this since I'm lactose intolerant. 3) an open mind and an adventurous eater is ideal 4) be ready for an epicurean adventure 5) the chef is a creative food genius We opted for the 5-course tasting menu with wine pairing. It's a great deal for this high end dinner.... Total was 227 Euros for 2 people. Everything we had was good including the wine. But some were hits while others were... Hmm... "It's beautiful, but not my favorite". My favorite was the ravioli! It was non-dairy and seriously the best ravioli ever! The one thing that I found frustrating was everything was "blind". Meaning the food and wine were not described until AFTER you consumed it. Apparently, you are supposed to be good at guessing what you are consuming. After the first 2 courses, I was over it. I wanted to know what everything was before I started to eat/drink. But I played along to horrible results on my part since I got all the wines wrong and most of the sauces and seasonings. Oh well. It was still a really good dinner and an experience I will never forget.
