I came here on a Saturday morning. I prefer these kind of old school markets instead of the new…read morefood halls that have started opening. The locals come here and it's definitely not touristy. The produce vendors are here early at 6:00 AM but the food stands don't open until at least 8:00 AM. There's also flowers, clothing, baked goods, fishmongers, cheesemongers, and butchers. I wish I could eat seafood in the morning since the Cap Ferret oysters did look good. Instead, I went to the crepe stand. My friend and I ordered a citron crepe and a sausage galette. The crepe and galette were made to order and delicious. The savory sausage galette had a creamy mustard sauce with fresh chives so it was amazing. I wish I could eat more (such problems I have) so I'll definitely have to come back!
