PPUP emailed me a promo offer for $50 for every (3) completed General Merchandise Oversized orders with a SUV listed from 10/7/2022-10/12/2022. I completed (6) of the deliveries in the time frame required. After requesting my $100 promo amount several times in chat with proper documentation proving the deliveries. I was denied $50. PPUP says I completed one of the orders on 10/6/2022 which is incorrect on their end. I attempted to clarify this with evidence but they screenshot me inaccurate details apparently from the store that says the order is ready to be picked up on 10/6/22. And I received the request on 10/7/2022. Which I did and delivered. The remainder (5) orders were ok and counted towards the promotion. PPUP only paid me $50 which I had to continously request for. Horrible services. We order through Sam's Club frequently and over and over again, Point Pick Up, fails to deliver. Tracking will show "Out for Delivery" and at the same time, read package will be delivered two days from now, and later on, will show that the driver returned without delivering merchandise. This has been an ongoing nightmare. There is no phone number available through their website, so they insulate themselves from customer complaints. I had gotten a job with the Company, from start the lady from the Human Resources was impolite and didn't explain proper information in regards to the position. I was never given a letter with the proper invitation and my hourly salary.They never got back to me with my paperwork submitted and when I asked for follow up the lady stated that she is too busy, took a very long time to reply to my emails which made me feel terrible. After 3 months of trying to get a claim started through Walmart and then through Point Pickup, the Director of Operations Kevin literally argued with me for over 10 minutes on the phone. Headed to Walmart which was not that far, only to be told the item is a 55 inch TV that would have fit in my car anyway. This information was not available when I accepted the order. Then to add insult to injury the Payout was 7.86. I immediately contacted driver support and had the order cancelled. I am not sure if the customer ever received his TV. I will be deleting this app ASAP. The payout is not feasible for the amount of driving you will be doing. read more

On May 4, 2022, I placed an order at JCPenney.com. The bulk of my order was shipped via Lasership, tracking number 1LSCY5101094415. I received a notification on May 8, 2022 the package had been delivered to my home address at 4:03pm, it was not. After searching my property and checking with all of my neighbors, I began contacting LaserShip. I called LaserShip in Dulles and spoke with Joseph who informed me Point Pickup was the last mile delivery service used by LaserShip to deliver the package to my home address. Not only was the package NOT delivered to my home address, Joseph informed me the GPS showed the package had been delivered to an address on Christine PL in Manassas VA. My address is on Helen St, in Manassas as CLEARLY indicated on the shipping label. We have spoken with the homeowner at not only the address on Christine Pl but also the home next door on Christine Pl and neither homeowner had ANY deliveries to their homes on May 8, 2022. The items in this package cost me $299.14. I don't have the words to express my fury. I do not know the name of the driver but I am writing to you to say that apparently, you have someone representing your company as a driver with absolutely no integrity. This is literally one of the worst and most deceptive delivery companies I have ever worked for. You start working as an independent contractor for them as a driver and pick up deliveries from Walmart Curbside in South Bend, LaPorte, and Michigan City, IN. When I was hired they first killed me with kindness and complimented on my reliability. I have been driving for them since April of 2020 and without any warning, they blocked my account. When I emailed their accounts email to find out why they blocked me or whether it was a mistake, they told me they blocked me for two weeks due to "unprofessional behaviour" towards the customers. I have always been professional with all the gig jobs I have had and with my sales job with CUTCO, which I have a stellar reputation with for the ten years I have been selling CUTCO knives. I know how to be professional and maintain professionalism anytime I am with a customer, in any of the businesses I work for. Well, according to Point Pickup, I was all of a sudden "unprofessional" when I was making some serious money with them and bringing in over $400 per week. The support for drivers is atrocious, no phone to call, just texts and messages. For driving, this is extremely dangerous and obviously proves that Point Pickup does not seem to care about their drivers driving safely. I thought that in this country we have the right to face our accusers and challenge any accusation or allegation made against us. After the two weeks, I emailed the accounts email for Point Pickup to find out they've decided to block me permanently due to a customer complaint. During this pandemic with atrocious lockdowns, when many small businesses had to close for ever, I was depending on the income I was making from Point Pickup. They are dishonest, they think their drivers are disposable and throw them away like trash when they feel like it. If you use Point Pickup to get your groceries delivered, realise that they are taking advantage of their great drivers who work hard for you to make sure you as a customer are happy. Also, if you are looking into doing a delivery gig with Point Pickup, look for another delivery service to work for. They are not worth the wear and tear on your car and the fuel costs. You work hard for them, no help and then they block you unexpectedly. I wish Yelp could give negative stars. I don't even think they are worth one star. read more

i have been running this app for about a month now and have come to realize that it's SOOOO not worth it. The app only allows you to choose 1 delivery at a time, even if theres multiple orders at the same store, at the same time. When I inquired about this, I was told that "major chains" required their drivers to only do one order at a time but when I pushed them on this response, I found out that it's point pickups choice to force their contractors to do one order at a time bc they don't want you to "mess up". Gas is $5/gal.+ right now and only getting worse and most customers only tip a couple bucks, if that. You'll on average make $10/hr which isn't even close to minimum wage or even a living wage. Not to mention, they are entitled to take money from your net earnings, including tips which is in the agreement you sign when you start delivering. Unless this company starts putting the essential workers first, I will spend the majority of my time doing DoorDash. Just ridiculous how they treat people. read more
