Visited this winery through a wine tour we booked (unfortunately I can't remember the name of the tour). The lady that showed us around was extremely informative & super sweet! This was our last tour of the day but it was probably my favorite out of the 3 we visited. There's a long driveway leading to the winery & exiting the car, there's a wonderful aroma surrounding the place. Came to find out there were lavender rosemary planted around the place!
From what I remember, all the wines are organic AND don't have the component that makes your face red from drinking (I'm pretty sure it's sulfites). Which is a huge plus for me considering I'm Asian & depending on what I drink, I sometimes get the "Asian glow." So yay to drinking glasses of wine & no more Asian glow!
All the wines were great but I'll have to say our favorite was the Syrah! We ended up purchasing 6 bottles of it to be shipped to Dallas... all the wine we've had throughout the day may have had some influence in us purchasing the bottles. We visited Italy in April & we just got our shipment 2 weeks ago so it took maybe 1 or 1 1/2 months to get it. We have no regrets on the purchase!
Overall, wonderful experience & the place was beautiful. I'm thinking back on it now as I write this review, I'm missing Italy already! read more
