I have worked with 2 other podiatrists prior to finding Dr. Gatalyak without any success. Yet with the guidance & knowledge of Dr. Gatalyak; I've made more progress in a two month time period than I ever did with the previous doctors. Unlike other professionals, Dr. Gatalyak is not just a Podiatric Physician but also a surgeon who will clearly explain all of your available options to you. He is very polite, clean & fast. His receptionist is also a joy to be around & they take the stress out of getting help. The Stow office is always quiet, clean & offers a wide variety of shoes for diabetics. Although I did not respond well to the medication, I am more than happy with the results and can't wait to finally be able to wear sandals or go barefoot without the pain & embarrassment. I used to have so much foot pain that after 8hrs of work I had to have my feet elevated and could barley walk when I got home. He made custom shoe inserts (orthotics) and it made a world of difference. I just picked up my second pair today and he is fixing my older pair now. I can not say enough good things about him. He has also recommended several other Dr's that have been exceptional as well.

But instead will educate you as well as provide you with cost effective alternatives/ home remedies. His office is always clean and the staff is very friendly! My previous Podiatrists was way too religious for me (ex: praying over my feet,etc) & tried to convince me that using an anti-fungal nail polish would cure my toe nail fungus. But common sense tells you that you'd be contaminating the nail polish every time you used it by re- dipping the brush. Dr. Davis told me my toe nails are not that bad & explained how to use Vic's Vapor Rub & a nail file to fix the issue. My feet know longer hurt as often & my toe nails are looking great!

I have to wonder what he was grabbing and how much damage he did because as soon as the numbing medicine wore off, my son was in horrific pain! He gave no pain medication at all. He left a wound that needed packed 2x daily. We soaked the foot in epsom salt as directed and then removed the original packing. It was very painful, and I was not able to get the new packing into the wound. Called the office for help and left a message with the answering service, but the Doc never called back! Drove to the office and neither doctor was in! The secretary called him and he was not concerned for my son at all! Now I have to take him elsewhere to have it packed.
