We get box seats through work at Tobyhanna Army Depot. Great seats. Even when we get non box seats always a good time!

Nice stadium situated in the mountains with some fantastic natural rock in the outfield. We had suite tickets but I always want to get the lay of the land. The stadium has plenty of places to post up and stand while grabbing a drink or some crabby fries. The suite level is exactly what you'd expect. The seating bowl is kind of limited on food options for a AAA stadium. There really doesn't seem to be a stand out food item, it's just basic stadium food which was disappointing. Yes, we did eat in the suite, but I'm always looking for something new. They do have Wallenpaupuck brewing in the stadium and you can get a flight of 4 of their brews for $15 down the third base line. The DIPA isn't overbearing and is good. There is also a large team store compared to other AAA teams. One great thing is that it is located one exit away from the airport so there are plenty of places to stay. Our hotel was literally on top of the hill from the stadium in centerfield (no you can't walk up to it). Parking is $7 which is normal. Prices inside for food and drink were also what you'd expect. It is a great place to see a game and that is what really matters and I'm definitely not a Yankees fan but I do enjoy watching guys come up through the ranks.

First visit here and we had a wonderful experience. The stadium was clean, attractive and conveniently located. The concessions were appealing and the promotions were clever. I would highly recommend for an affordable and family friendly outing,

Came to PNC Field for the Scranton / Wilkes-Barre Railriders baseball game. AAA Yankees team plays here. PNC Field was great! Options to get here via car or Electric City Trolley to the game (to/fro). When I came, there were giant bobble head figures of Reggie Jackson, Roger Clemens and Andy Ashby! Take your pictures and selfies with them (while they are there).. Very cool! The team store to your left where you can purchase souvenirs - caps, t-shirts, socks and more! The game was great - saw the RailRiders play against the Syracuse Chiefs. Food options at the ballpark were good - walk around the park. Look for any special deals - there was a special deal souvenir bucket chicken fingers and fries with drink for $15. Great value!  Make sure to go around to check out the food options. Also had nachos, bbq wings and ice cream! Like the major leagues, souvenir helmets for ice cream which are a tad smaller. Great time to spend and watch minor leagues with friends and hang out! Will definitely come back again and take the trolley to the game. The trolley will wait 15 minutes after the game so don't miss the it if you took it here. It definitely makes it easier than being stuck in traffic going in and out of the parking lot.

As a big baseball family that we are, we go to A LOT of different Major and Minor league stadiums. With nothing going on this past Saturday and as I'm looking up who's playing where; we decided to make the 2 hour drive to PNC Field from Northern NJ. Stadium was very nice and clean. I will admit that for was a little more expensive than I was expecting for a minor league game but the food was very good, so I didn't mind that. Field itself was one of the better ones we've been to. Ticket prices were priced right being only a few rows from the field. Only negative was that once the game was over, they couldn't rush you out fast enough. Myself, my son and his friend were picking out a hat and logo ball as we collect baseballs from every stadium and my wife was waiting in the concourse with all the hoodies. They made her leave because they had to lock the gates. Meanwhile, they wouldn't let her go to the bathroom. Really? Thank God there was a Starbucks down the street. After supporting a lower level team, you usually don't get that kind of a rush to get people to leave. Hence the loss of a star. With a 2 hour drive home, that makes a big difference.

Man oh, man, turn back the pages. It had been a long time since I was up on the mountain for a minor league baseball game in Moosic. A lot had transpired since the original crap hole Lackawanna County Stadium was built here in '89 or so to look like a mini-Veterans Stadium. That was truly the only place I have ever seen that looked dated when it was new. There's retro and there's a dump and that place was a dump. (Go to digitalballparks.com and search the old pictures) Astroturf along with way too much seating capacity and a super steep pitch for the seats in the 2nd deck made it a bad place to see a game. Thankfully, that place got demolished in 2013 and you have PNC Field here today which is a million times better. (This is for the game we saw only this past Sunday) Good: Super easy to get to off of 81 and tons of parking. I don't know the real attendance for the game (not the one where they include season/corporate tickets that were pre-paid/sold but may or may not have actually been at that game) but I'm guessing maybe 2,500, tops. I got 2nd row seats behind the plate the day before the game without issue and there were multiple unoccupied sections around the park. The mandatory cashless thing is a ludicrious knee jerk reaction that I've haven't seen at any other minor league park I've been to this year but overall it works. You can buy your parking in advance but when you get to the lot it's not scanned. They just look at your phone and let you through. At the gates their scanners work decent enough just make sure that for a day game your phone's screen brightness is turned all the way up or else the QR code from Ticketmaster won't scan properly the first six times. Meh: The food is the food. Very pricey like you would expect at a professional sports game and overall the selection is weak. You could go see the IronPigs play in Allentown and experience all of the food offerings at Coca-Cola Park but that is the exception not the rule. Here it's pretty much pretzels, roller dogs and things like that. Blah. Bad: Their insane bag and wanding policy. Nowhere else on planet earth is this done for a minor league baseball game unless that game is taking place in Attica. Security guy A in line one is telling women with wristlets that it's too big and to take it back to the car yet guy B in the line next door is letting full sized purses by and you can take in multiple diaper bags as big as full size rolling luggage and that's ok. Really, really stupid and highly arbitrary. The best part is that before they tell you to take the "bag" back to your car you get wanded and then you can come back to the same line with the same person and now it's time to get it again. Truly, why? The game itself was alright with Scranton losing and their manager attempting to use a pitcher not on their roster and/or lineup card exchange at the start of the game. Fun times. Yes indeed it was good time watching a decently played game while some jughead a section over yelled at the top of his lungs "swing" at nearly every pitch to a Syracuse hitter for the entire game and another was doing the Ric Flair "Woooooooooo" all game long which is loud as hell when the stadium is that empty. Great. Where was security for that crap? Overall it was fun, the price was fair and I'm glad we went. Is there a need to come back? Probably not as there are better minor league experiences to be had in the surrounding tri-state area.

Great place to spend a family night out there isn't a bad seat anywhere. Very reasonably priced concessions. Very family friendly

Easy to find off the interstate, near plenty of gas food etc. Their is plenty of parking ( are the ever going to pave the parking lot?) All the staff was friendly and helpful. Plenty of distractions for the little kids. Nice playing field, overall clean facility - GO RAILRIDERS! Affordable ticket and food prices make for a fun evening of baseball.

Spacious, beautiful, family friendly and a really great atmosphere! At the moment of this review, I have attended a baseball game in 14 MLB stadiums and 3 minor league stadiums and this has now become one of my favorite baseball stadiums ever! Everything about this stadium really made the experience we had here great, from the friendly nature of the employees to the great food selection! We came here for the 1st time this past weekend for a bobblehead/arm giveaway and weren't sure what to expect from this experience. First off, there is a huge parking lot for the stadium and parking was only $2 so that's a major plus for anyone fearing parking costs. Second, the employees were so friendly every which way, from the ticket scanners, to the ballpark photographers and concession workers. We were always greeted with smiles and they were helpful when we asked questions. Did I mention the great food selection?! There was so much to choose from our heads were spinning. There were burgers, fries, (different flavored) chicken fingers, hot dogs with different toppings, BBQ food and multiple flavors of soft serve ice cream! And most of the food and desserts were relatively cheap compared to many stadiums we had been to! At the end of the night, we ordered soft serve ice cream on a cone for $4.50, however the ice cream was swirled about 7 inches high! As for families, there were plenty of them and PNC Field accommodates them nicely with the kid-friendly areas, such as the bounce houses and lawn seating area where they can run around. Speaking of the lawn seating, it was our first time ever watching a game from the lawn and it was so relaxing being able to just sit there, spread out and not feel cramped up in a seat. Just remember to bring a towel with you! Although this stadium is a bit bigger than most minor league stadiums, it is still much smaller than an MLB stadium, so there were great views to be had everywhere. There were also small things here and there that we loved, such as the wide bar seat ledges facing the field where you can eat your food and watch the action. The location of the stadium was also interesting as it felt like they had carved out a piece of the forest and planted the stadium right in the middle of it as the backdrop in the outfield was a giant rock wall. To reiterate, we absolutely loved everything about this stadium and would definitely come back to see a minor game here again!

    Erica R.

Recently attended a game here and had a very enjoyable time. The stadium is easy to get to, parking is well-organized, and all members of the staff were very helpful and hospitable. The park itself is laid out nicely and does have that comfortable "hometown" feel. Admittedly though, I was a bit surprised by the lack of locations where you can get actual food... as opposed to just snack items. That said, I would totally come back here for more games in the future; besides, as a Yankees fan, I can totally be a fan of the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders. :) TL;DR Enjoyable day at the park. Great staff. Will certainly visit again. Recommended visit.

I've seen two games now at the newly renovated PNC field, one sitting in the seats along the first base line and one from a luxury box. I have to say that the new stadium is great. It is much more fan oriented than the old stadium and has the feel of a hometown ball park. One of the most exciting aspects of the renovation is the ability to walk along the wall in the outfield and the grassy hill behind the fence. It reminds me of the Little League World Series field in Williamsport, PA. The food selection is lacking, but they do have local pizza from Ravellos in Old Forge. The prices are a little higher than I would like to see, but it is a baseball stadium and that is typically an easy way to make more money. The luxury box was nice, but I feel like they are a little too deep and make watching the game hard unless you're right against the glass or sitting in the seats outside the box. The boxes also give you access to a "server" who checks in every few innings to get drink or food orders. Prices are high here too but again, the markup is to be expected.

Everything in the interior is located in one central hallway, so you really can't get lost, but it gets crowded. Food options are somewhat basic but underwhelming. The pretzel I ordered was terrible as it was hard, over salted, and possibly stale. The Pepsi Zero was watered down. Generally, even the cheap seats here are not bad in terms of view. The seats are not the widest, but there's a decent amount of legroom. The sound system still leaves a lot to be desired depending on the show. Getting out of the parking lot can be challenging if traffic control is not on their game, so anticipate delays when leaving. Overall, with the other options for major arena shows being Allentown, Reading, or Hershey, the Mohegan Sun Arena At Casey Plaza is good enough and will get the job done if you need to attend an arena show.

This has to be one of the coolest experiences we've ever had! Bowman Field only seats about 2,400 people, and tickets to the MLB Classic are extremely limited -- reserved mostly for Little League players (child plus two additional tickets per player), their families, media, and volunteers. That means very few tickets are available to the public, so being able to attend truly felt like a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. They had shuttle buses running from several areas in Williamsport, taking fans directly to the stadium. From the outside, Bowman Field looks tiny compared to most MLB stadiums, but that's part of its charm. We were lucky enough to be seated in the deck area, just to the right of first base, with a perfect view of the field. The deck is open seating and first come, first serve -- but we managed to snag seats right up front! There's no alcohol on site, but the food options were pretty good. I did have a small scare with some wasps trying to eat my funnel cake fries, but otherwise, it was a great experience. When I say the stadium is small -- it's tiny. You're so close to the players, and there's even a walkway right above where we were sitting where you can see them coming in and out. A few kids near us were diving over tables trying to catch foul balls -- it was hilarious and scary to watch. At one point, Lindor threw a ball right to us and YES, we caught it and gave it to our kids! We actually caught a few balls throughout the game and shared them with the other children around us. The pricing to see the Crosscutters MiLB team is great at under $10 for every seat in the place. Employees were friendly enough. The guys walking around (or one guy specifically) walking around selling beers was SO annoying (and in such a small ballpark you see/hear him always) that I left early. Stop yelling, no one cares, and literally everyone ignored him yet he was undeterred. Though he should have been. So go see a MLB game here if you can score a ticket.
