I did a little research and Truist is holding the $7,000.00 in an interest bearing account that benefits Truist, not me. I'm not sure what the interest rate is on this "holding account" nor do I know where the funds actually reside, but to me, this is theft and fraud. Please be careful where you place your money, and certainly reconsider banking with Truist. My next call is to my financial attorney. I'm at least owned the interest that they underhandedly accrued on my behalf. Truist: Trust with a lower case i. How cliche'.
