Extremely disappointing experience with Loan Officer Aimee Gonia and Branch Manager Mike Easton. I…read morecannot recommend this team due to serious issues with transparency and communication. Initially, an unexpected $7,000 in additional fees was added to my loan. While they removed the fees after I caught the discrepancy, the process only deteriorated from there. After I signed the disclosure, communication went completely silent. Days before my closing, they allowed my locked rate to expire and unapologetically offered a rate nearly a full percent higher, forcing a one-week delay to my closing as I had to change lenders last minute. I also to pay a higher rate. Whether this stems from dishonesty or gross incompetence, future borrowers should steer clear.

As an out-of-state investor navigating a different time zone, trust was everything, and Katie delivered on every level. The refinance process was just as smooth. What sets Katie apart is that she's consistently responsive, proactive, and on top of every detail. You can tell she's not just checking boxes. She's genuinely invested in getting the best outcome for her clients. I refer Katie to friends and family without hesitation, and she'll be my first call for every future real estate move. Highly recommend working with Katie Skaggs!

Early in the process, they presented a broad portfolio of default options for me, explaining which they recommended for me and why. I selected one and was happy...and then about a week later, they contacted me with more options! They had actually taken my situation into consideration, and researched other options that gave me an even better deal than the original one I had happily accepted. Talk about customer service! It was completely unexpected and not requested, but I saw Kyle time & again go the extra mile to make sure that I was happy and got a great outcome. Highly recommended!

I also wasn't impressed with their rate they were able to secure, as well as the application cost. I was comparing these guys with some other lenders from Costco who were able to get both lower rates and waive an application fee, so I'm kinda kicking myself a bit for not going with my gut. BUT. Being a first time homebuyer, things were definitely a bit confusing, but Simon Brais and his team did an excellent job orchestrating everything from Loan Applications down to the final CD. And I think that's kind of priceless. I don't know if other companies would've had the same kind of smoothness, but our overall service from Movement washed any frustrations I gained along the way.
