I like using a credit union (they're not out for profit!) and I like using a small local…read moreinstitution. I was happy with Sun East for many years, but over the last few years their I.T. has become so bad that I have moved my money elsewhere. For over a year I was unable to retrieve my monthly bank statements from the website - I would get the same error message every month and would have to request that they email the statement to me. They supposedly referred this error situation to their I.T. people but nothing was ever fixed. After a year they said that they were going to start charging me for emailing the statements!! At that time, the member service rep told me of a different button I could click on the website, and voila - I was able to get my statement! Why couldn't someone have told me that a year ago, and why do they have a button that says "e-statement" if that button won't work??? In addition to the above, many times their website is down when I go to access it. In early 2024 they changed their 3rd-party provider for bill pay, and electronic bill pay was unavailable for almost a month! These failures are just inexcusable in my opinion.

I called Sun East service line and I was told they did not want to install them. I find it hard to understand why they will not spend a few dollars for public safety when over 500,000k Americans have died in less then a year.
