I've had no problems with this branch or PNC in general, until a visit a few months ago on a Saturday where there was only one teller. There were 2 people in front of me, so I figured I'd wait. There was a glitch with the customer being waited on and the transaction took at least 10 minutes. During this time I spoke with a manager who informed me that she could not help the teller, as in take a few customers. And nor could the other management type who was in the building. I ended up feeling sorry for the lone teller and joked with her once it was my turn. And she was friendly and apologetic. But I still couldn't shake the fact that the other 2 employees were unable to help..... About a week ago I stopped in and was waited on quickly and very colloquially, maybe even too much so. But on returning today I find that there are no tellers here! And this is a permanent change that started a few days ago. There's 2 atms and that is the extent you can do banking with them. You can do investing I guess, maybe change or set up accounts. A young gentleman helped me with an atm deposit so it was not the end of the world for me. But I think others older than myself will like the change even less than I do. Call me old fashioned but I like to interact with live humans when the need to cash a check or other banking activity is needed. And this branch has always had great customer service. I'd say that this has been my neighborhood bank for 2 decades and more. I'm tempted to switch financial institutions, but am guessing they are all going in this direction. Yelp should change the designation as this really should not be called a bank anymore. read more

Incompetent and deceptive manager. My first bad experience:I was mislead and told that I was selected for an increase in credit but in reality they opened a new separate cc . and then at a later date the branch manager told me my debit card was the best way to identify me so I could make a deposit, despite providing my license +ssn+2fa from my phone. read more

I am literally pulling all of my money out of PNC. I am closing all of my accounts. I will never ever use PNC again. The manager of this locations behavior is abhorrent. I'm not even going to put on here all the things that he just said, and the way he spoke to me, but it was very very disrespectful, and I will literally be handling it accordingly. It's really sad because I had a great experience at a different location. I decided to try this location once because it was closer to my house. it has become a nightmare. This man is holding $5000 away from me. He refuses to tell me what happened to my money. He has no answers as to when my money will become available and when I asked to try and get my checks back, he refused to give them he yelled, had a horrible attitude, and just was all around not acceptable for customer service. It's very unfortunate because I had hoped for my PNC accounts. But, as soon as it's non-locked, and non-frozen. I am closing all the accounts and pulling all the money. He literally has my accounts frozen right now so I have to wait until PNC does some sort of investigation all of a sudden to determine my identity. I have no problems until I chose to use this bank one time and had an interaction with this man. I don't know what kind of note he put on my account but all of a sudden it's a nightmare. read more

I have banked at PNC for many years, most of the time using my local branch in Haddonfield, which has amazing customer service. I occasionally need to use this Hamilton branch, and the difference is dramatic. The staff is polite, but the branch seems to be badly understaffed. Whenever I have needed to do anything more complicated than make a deposit, I am told the wait will be a few minutes, then wait 1/2 hour or more. Today after waiting 1/2 hour to send a wire, I finally got a customer service representative whose abilities seemed sufficiently questionable that I walked out without completing the transaction, nervous that a large wire would not be sent correctly. Done with this branch. read more

I have had an abysmal experience banking with PNC, and my final experience at this location confirmed it. I decided to finally close my PNC account and went to this location a few weeks ago. I was directed to a young guy who confirmed that the following day the accounts would be completely closed. Just this week I received a letter from PNC about changes to my account, and the letter was dated after my accounts should have been closed out. I called PNC and they confirmed that no action had been taken to close the accounts, and a customer service rep finally did so over the phone. I will never bank with PNC again. read more
