Today was a pleasant one 3-27-25. I was greeted immediately and signed in and waited to be seen. I met with April and it was so cool we had the same name! Spelling and all she was so nice and we shared laughs and little stories due to our namesakes! and all the while mutually handing the business at hand!. She successfully closed my account and I plan to return once I get back on my feet from my other retina detachment surgeries and recoveries. I Love this Bank because they let you know when something is going on with your account or your cards the simplest of Off they handle it immediately. Always acknowledge even by the security guard , they are always willing to work with you. I will always recommend this bank due to the fact they care for and about their customers first! And I've never had an issue with the tellers or bank systems at this location. PNC also has several banks within Wawas they help ATMs much easier and I was talking to someone getting money out as well but He had used his Independence Card which was interesting and different! . So if you have that card you can use it at any PNC ATM that's inside a Wawa. The Value is community and customers they are fair and honest in that and make sure you return as if it's a store! read more

I had an issue with a PNC cashiers check from out of state not being signed by the teller that issued it. The manager at this location refused to help me and said I would just have to mail it back to the person that sent it to me. It had already taken me a week to receive it via priority mail and cost $10. It would cost another $20 to send it back and receive it again after my 90 year old mother that does not drive took it back to the bank. I explained all of this and he shoved the check back at me and refused to help. He was African. I left there and went to Bowie PNC, explained everything to their African AMERICAN manager and he immediately called the issuing bank, confirmed the check and signed it for me. SIMPLE AD DONE. The manager at the first branch had no compassion and was just too lazy to help. Thank god that the Bowie manager was willing to go the extra mile and was very nice about it. read more

This started out with me depositing a check that was not signed. The next day I discovered the error via email from PNC, I called the number listed for customer service. I was told that I could pick the check up from the bank. I drove to that bank's location, was told that I could not pick up the check because it was not even there, PNC would mail the check back to me. Today, I received a "copy" of the check, not the actual check. I know that it isn't PNC's fault that I did not check to see if the check was signed. But can't PNC get information correct? This is my branch of choice. Always greeted walking in the door and the lines tend to be very short even during peak times. I personally like to swing pass and grab a cup of coffee and have a few good conversations with the managers and tellers. Just good folks. read more

I really like PNC bank as a whole...this location, not so much. The bank tellers aren't trained very well. I know we live in a technology era but if you work at a bank I expect you to know how to read a deposit slip. Maybe? read more

I'm honestly glad that there's a PNC here. Over the years, PNC and I have been through it. I first joined in college and found PNC's policies overbearing and manipulative. And the representatives (phone support, managers, bank tellers) I dealt with were far from customer service oriented. It seemed like however, that after the economic depression when banks started going under, PNC decided to revamp itself. And it's been a very successful transformation. The customer support both on the phone and in the banks has sky rocketed to another level. And the incentives/program PNC offers its customers have also improved. This particular branch is another example of PNC's recent excellence. First of all, it's very conveniently located next to Wegman's, Chipotle, and Sweet Frog. I'm always at this shopping center for one reason or another. But honestly, PNC pretty much takes care of all your banking needs either online or through your apps so I hardly ever need to come to a branch. But when I do, this is certainly my branch of choice! The attitudes of the tellers are friendly and inviting. They've got the kind of staff that makes you want to go inside the bank more. There is a very nice woman with curly hair at the teller window. She handles my transactions quickly and efficiently every time. Then there was Scott, who switched my joint savings to a joint virtual wallet with a lot of humor and good conversation. He seemed very comfortable with us--like we were in his home instead of his office. The decor is contemporary and vibrant. There's usually a lot of natural light shining through the bank giving off an overall positive aura. I went through a period where I really didn't trust banks as a whole. And I still don't think they're the most honest but nevertheless I enjoy being a PNC customer. It's probably the next best thing to a credit union or keeping all of your money under the mattress :) read more

Walked into the PNC Bank (Woodmore Branch) to cash a PNC issued check sent to me by PNC Mortgage for over-charging my mortgage account. At first the teller (female) informed me that I needed an account to cash the check. I informed her that a mortgage loan is an account, but she had to check with her manager. After that was cleared up, she took the check and my identification to the manager who held on to both for approximately 15 minutes as other patrons conducted various types of business transactions. Finally a Bank Manager (Male) approached the window and informed me that the check could NOT be verified. He further stated that their system was down although others were conducting business as usual. His suggestion to me was to take the check to another bank and deposit it. I felt a bit humiliate, especially when informed that he would need to call the mortgage department and speak with someone to verify the PNC issued check. I'm beyond sure that PNC doesn't call to verify every check issued by their own bank. I was left with no alternative but to leave the bank with check in hand. Again this was beyond normal for as many transactions as I've done I've never had to have a branch manager call and personally validate a check issued by the same institution, as if he doesn't recognize a PNC issued check read more
