I like PNC. I don't deal with them more than I have too, so maybe that helps ;) This branch is alright, the staff isn't overly friendly, save a couple shining stars. The bank serves it's purpose though and you can usually always see someone and the wait isn't horrible for a teller (assuming you go during the day). I warn you though... if you are self employed DO NOT call them for a mortgage, that is unless you like being hung up on! I was pretty livid at the time (I have since calmed down in 3 years)... but it does make for a fun story! read more

DO NOT USE THIS LOCATIONS ATM's FOR DEPOSITS! The staff was aware of a problem with the ATM's yet did nothing about it to warn customers that if you deposit money into their ATM, it would malfunction and keep your money, not deposit it to your account and wouldn't print a deposit receipt. When you ask for help, be prepared to wait 30 mins only for them to tell you you're out of luck and have to wait 10 days for the dispute to be resolved. Join a credit union. PNC's policy is such that you're to be treated terribly and have your money stolen. They treat you as if your money doesn't belong to you. read more

Worst.Customer.Service.Ever. This bank should really be ashamed. I wonder if their representatives receive any training at all. Sure, this is a good bank, if you need a place to stow coins that you have recently removed from under your couch cushions. Or if you want to magically change your $10 bill into a roll of quarters. But if you need anything more than that, good luck. Well, I need to rescind my criticism a bit. Their on line bill payment system seems to work well. And their ATM's are everywhere. But if you are ever in need of a question answered, there is a good chance that their customer service call center will not have the answer. I have had this experience at least 3 times so far this month. And now let's discuss their fraud department. Is this where they keep all their incredibly incompetent employees? I honestly believe so. Case in point, one of their fraud "experts" called me about a "problem" concerning my account. Do they say there is a problem with my account? No. They say I am calling from PNC Bank and are you Julie D.? I reply yes. They say you need to verify your mailing address to which I reply, are you kidding me? We need to make sure we have the correct Julie D. I say did you not call me? If you are indeed from PNC Bank and you have called Julie D. and I have said that I am Julie D., then you must be looking at my account info which includes both my mailing address AND my phone number. So, your chances are probably 100% that you have the correct Julie D. They refused to tell me why they were calling. I asked them 3 times. And they refused to tell me until I verified my mailing address. Which I did not do. In today's society, am I really going to give my address to an unknown person just because they "say" they are from my bank? Is my bank going to be calling from an "unknown number"? Is my bank going to call me twice in a row, the first time hanging up on me to elevate my suspicious nature. And then call back 3 minutes later and behave like this? Only if they work at PNC Bank. Even better than that, I decided to call PNC Bank back to ask if they had called me. They said no. Then they put me on hold to check with their fraud dept., and then they return to the line to say no, no one called me. But if they did, they would never ask for me to verify my address. NEVER. And they even said that I was wise not to give that information! The bottom line is, this unprofessional "fraud" idiot couldn't get past the verification issue to tell me that they were about to create an issue with my account. Yes, I said that THEY created the issue. And I had to suffer the consequences for THEIR stupidity. Then I had to waste 3 hours of my life to correct the problem that THEY created. On their own. And I dealt with even more incompetence along the way. Yes, this includes people that work at the Cranberry Twp. branch. After being a customer since 1999, it's time to find a new bank. One that doesn't employee a bunch of amateur detectives or wanna be ghost busters. They don't catch fraud. They try to make some up. read more

I was put off by the other reviews, but I recently went to this PNC, the customer service was excellent. When I walked in I was greeted with two smiling faces willing to help. I had a more complicated issue in which the rep was thorough, kind, and quick. The store manager even came to help with a bit of a bump in the issue and made sure everything was attended to correctly. I will definitely frequent this PNC more often. read more

I like this PNC. It's clean and the associates are very friendly. They need to have more tellers inside, though, because every time I go in, I'm stuck behind a line of 3+ people and only two associates are working. That's my only complaint. Review #125. read more

They made an error on my deposit at the Pine Twp branch and when I went in to get it resolved got three different answers to why my deposit never showed up from three different employees. The branch manager is clueless and never returns phone calls. Went to the Cranberry branch and was treated just as bad until the found out I had a wealth advisor and a huge business relationship then they tried to back pedal. I'm planning on moving my whole relationship. A bunch of phonies. read more

If I could give less stars I would. This bank's customer service is so poor. Tellers, customer service reps--pretty much everyone I have to deal with at this bank is rude. I am switching banks--as much as a hassle as it is, I would rather go somewhere where my business is appreciated. read more
