I hate to give this entire bank a 1 star rating because all of the employees there are polite and…read moreprovide excellent customer service...but it's always the one rotten apple who spoils the barrel and in this case it is the assist mgr, Trisha Bell. My wife and I recently had to change our account details due to suspected fraud. I was having some difficulty understanding the transition process (I don't do this every day...thank goodness). Ms Bell was assisting with the process but right from the beginning we found her to be curt, rude and condescending. Today I asked a question that I had asked several times before (I am a super busy person with my business and some things just don't sink in right away) and her tone when she answered was totally condescending. In a nice but very direct way I said "Tricia...please don't talk to me like I am one of your children". With that she answered...(you will NOT believe this) ...."if you were you would have understood this weeks ago". I was utterly shocked. I could not believe my ears. I asked to talk to the manager, her boss, Julie, and she was wonderful and totally apologetic. But no one can touch Trisha as she is protected.... In any business I have run over the years I would have dismissed an employee on the spot if I knew this exchange went down, but in Trisha's case I don't think they can even give her a letter of reprimand. I won't be taking my business elsewhere as I see this as an isolated incident with one horribly rude and arrogant employee...but the bank gets one star for not telling her to pack her bags and move on, protected or not. My license was renewed on my birthday 5 days ago and they needed me to come in because my id is no longer valid. I was there on Tuesday no mention of it! This is a cash deposit. Ridiculous. Between needing a text every time you go to the bank to verify and this we are out of there. The lady Kathy is golden, love her, but not the bank anymore. Long lines and endless verifications for deposits are ridiculous. Oh and the drive through doesn't open to 9.

Bank America regularly put holds on even certified bank checks of less than $4000 when h e never…read moresubmitted a bad check, never overdrawn my accounts or ever had any negative issues as a customer. The holds last more than 7 days when clearly the check clears in less than 2 with today's technology. This borders on fraudulent business practices. Just happened again after specifically asking if a hold would be placed when I made the deposit and was told no, the funds would be available the next day. They could make a 5 min call and verify the funds but they won't. This is the last straw. Once this check clears all my money is coming out. Highly recommended you do not bank with the company ever!!!
