When I wanted to open a line of credit, I was told it would take 4 weeks...it ended up taking 12. The few times I've been in the branch, I've had to wait...wait...wait, and wait some more. The employee was talking to and assisting customers that came AFTER me while she saw me waiting. Just extremely poor customer service. It took them an HOUR to send a wire. At my other non-TD bank, it takes them 10 minutes. From my experience, not all of the employees here are bad, just one of them is terrible.

Problem (to them) was I never used my debit card EVER, except at their branch. This branch had been real keen on using debit card that I must use on every transaction esp. since last yr. and they practically told me that I should use TD app time and time esp. short Spanish/English speaking female assistant mgr. since last yr or so that I've seen for few yrs. and I told her "I'm scared of hackers." So I never used app nor their debit card anywhere. Then last Summer, they had new S.&E. speaking cashier and then I received an email to rate her performance and I was busy at the time and when I got back to email, it expired AND(!), when I stopped by following wk. they, both, Korean mgr. and that employee was hostile to me saying "other customer's good review (got her hired)?" She was practically huff and puff to me! During Oct. 2024, I got 2 CD w. her totaling 6k and she practically high jacked my debit card while getting 2nd CD of $4k, placing my debit card right in front of her during whole process of very slow typing and salivating over $4k cash which made me very nervous. After 2nd. CD transaction she didn't even print out any CD paper saying I will get CD # and all in email but it never arrived which I didn't think much wrong was committed. Few mo. later, I had incident of forgetting (thought I did) to retrieve my debit card after withdrawing $50 at their ATM which I remembered while I was in usual transaction w. her and they (both dual speaking casher) told me that ATM swallows after certain time... I told them I will think about ordering new card after their OK to used my ID on later transactions, then when I got into my car, I found debit card in my wallet(!) so it was one of my automatic behavior I guessed :) I didn't bother to tell them "I found my card" and that's what caused all these incidents of my debit card holes I think, They must thought other bank customer took it or who knows what. Anyway, someone used my debit card 3 times total of almost $600 afterwards. Problem (to them) was I never used it nor lost it. When I finally brought that issue to other branch (I was scared because this branch told me it was hackers) and promptly issue was resolved and got back all my money. Then one evening, that Korean mgr. called me from this branch phone (so I had to pick up ) saying that I was falsely accused her and it is serious/wrongful (as if he/they had right to .. what I don't know) and that I did indeed used my debit card so I said I never lost my card at their branch, then he tells me hackers could gotten my debit card # out of my wallet while at grocery, etc. and I told him I coved my wallet w. aluminum foils and I never, ever used their d.card anywhere, then he repeated " .. never used card .." as if some sober moment, then he tells me it was Lena (or Rena) ?? repeating, instilling that name to me ?? I think all of them at this branch is rotten to core except one female I saw on Saturday last Winter. (She was working full time past 3+ yrs.) She finally printed out my 2nd. CD paper to lets me know CD #, maturity date, and amt.! thought it was 2k not 4k !! When March came I got 1st. CD out in Cashier's check and that horrible cashier (by then she became bigger/taller w. low deep voice, told me I can get next CD out from this branch only which .. ? She, they made me feel uncomfortable so I got c. check cashed at other TD branch to deposit into my other bank acct. By then I couldn't trust them w. any of my other bank account #s ! So why are they so unlawful, so greedy to the point of stupidity? They must gotten away with so many evil deeds so far to want more and more. This branch is one of evil run TD bank. Don't know where they come from but there are more of better run branches of TD bank.

Also, the current staff seems more engaged and have all been pleasant. I admit that part of the reason I find myself using this location more is due to another location's change of hours but while that may have been what initially lead me here on a Saturday morning I am coming back because of the service. The gentleman I believe is the manager has been nice and engaged each time I have been in, he is not just sitting back at a desk, he is talking with folks, helping tellers, and getting customers' prepped for their interactions. Even when he was dealing with an unhappy customer who could not enter a few minutes after noon on a Saturday (the doors automatically lock) he has kind and provided several ATM lessons. On a less last minutes visit I may ask for an ATM deposit lesson as well, after all my bad experience (where a check was eaten / lost) was several versions back. While I do wish the BOA near the Starbucks was open on Saturday I am more than contented to know the BOA off Columbia Pike in Annandale is updated with a friendly and informed team. Now if they could do something with the parking, at least update the lines and arrows.
