They also have nice and friendly staff, an independent mechanic on the premises which is always busy, gas bottle refills or "swap 'n go," and refrigerated cabinets filled with drinks and snacks. What I like most about this place is the ease of pulling in off Waterworks Road and the expediency of the cashier to get you in and out. It's my favourite petrol station and being an RACQ member is simply a bonus!

They're still so good, with big, tasty patties and lots of fillings. The chips are good value for the money, too. If you're heading across Straddie to the surfside, you'll see the roadhouse, painted bright blue, as you head into Point Lookout. It's one of only two or three places you can get fuel on the island.
