I specifically stated that my husband and I did not want flooring that looked like long rubber strips. John came to our home and brought lovely hard bound - grooved timber style flooring samples and we agreed on one. The samples that were presented to me were not the product I saw being used and already 2/3rds installed by noon on Monday, January 25, 2011. I immediately called John indicating that this was not the product we had discussed and that a laminent was exactly what my husband and I did not want. He stated that "people get them mixed up all the time" and that "with dogs in my house this is the product he thinks I should have." I can only say that we are extremely disappointed with the product as it is something we could have picked up ourselves at Lowe's or Sam's and laid over a weekend and at a fraction of the cost. Not to mention that there is a mound at the rear entry door where the floor was floated over the existing tile, and areas of lift throughout the room that I was told by one of your installers would settle once the materials acclimated themselves to my environment. In coming to a professional interior design and installation service I had certainly expected more, but instead have come away from this experience extremely disappointed. We have learned to live with the floor for now and are in the process of trying to decide how to get rid of it and what we should do next. This certainly is not what we intended when we sought your services as we thought we were buying an improvement to our home, but instead we have a daily reminder of what we didn't want.

To start let me say to La Z Boy that all of this--the back and forth, the bad reviews, the…read morefrustration and more could ALL have been avoided had you kept your word, your actual promise to replace the defective chair within a week of receipt. Avoid like the plague!!! The name means nothing anymore. No quality, no service, no customer satisfaction. Purchased 2 recliners for delivery in late October. (3500.00+). Delivered and one had a seat that was so unlevel it slid the sitter to one side. Was told it would be replaced. 3 weeks later the one bringing the replacement said chair was too "hairy" (the fabric pattern Kerr D201395 sheds terribly) and refused the exchange although it hadn't been sat in at all due to the issue. After many calls and lies from customer service person Yolanda, we were told they'd repair it. They came mid December and went through some motions but if anything it's worse. Went into Waco store and the manager said nothing to do about it and just walked away. We at last got them to take the chairs for repair and when they finally were returned they had done absolutely nothing to the seat, but had stuffed the tar out of the back, to the point it pushes you a 1/4 way off the front. All you have to do is LooK at it to know what needs fixing...it's beyond me what and or why they can't or won't. The other chair no longer drops from the reclined position without warning, but now with a strong breath or reach for a remote it tips so far back you almost go head over heels. This will NOT be the end of it! We have 5 years warranties on these lemons and plenty of time for back and forth if that's what we are forced into. These were our 50th anniversary gifts to each other and it's like we gave each other trash. Again, they are existing on a past reputation that is quickly being replaced with their inferior products and service.

I didn't sleep on the sofa for a few months, but when I had a guest over the holidays I discovered that the bedframe was bent and uneven. I called customer service and the lady was SO RUDE. She was like "you should have called right after you got the couch." She blamed me for waiting so long, but I had only sat on the couch and not abused it in anyway. I told her that the warranty should be for a year. She told me I'd have to get the couch to their Dallas warehouse (100 miles away) or pay $200. She was uninterested in what I said but kept saying "You're cutting me off! You need to stop talking and listen to me!" Wow. I am DONE WITH LA-Z-BOY. THEY SENT ME A BENT BEDFRAME ON MY $3,000 COUCH AND THE AGENT WAS RUDE WHEN I TOLD HER ABOUT IT. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A JOKE. I will NEVER shop La-Z-Boy again!!!!!!!
