The online ordering process was good and delivery was as promised. Unfortunately the kitchen mixer taps ordered were supposed to be for a low pressure/header tank hot water system. When received and fitted, they were no better output wise than the high pressure/combi boiler type ones I had previously had fitted. So a poor description, leading to a waste of cost, time & effort. The bathroom mixer taps work perfectly. read more

Plumbworld really need to get their deliveries sorted The problem is, they might be missing one of six items ordered so they don't deliver anything! I had three projects on one delivery and it took around 21 days to deliver. This is so frustrating when you run a small business. It meant I didn't get paid on three projects because I couldn't complete. I did complain and they did send me what they had meaning I was rushing to finish bathroom projects before the Christmas break and trying to keep customers happy for their Christmas. They just don't get it. Let people knoe BEFORE ordering, not after. Theirs nothing much wrong with their products, much the same as all others, they're just not geared up to supply businesses running on deadlines and completion dates. I've placed a good few orders with Plumbworld. They're not my favourite and always last choice. read more

Prices excellent, service good, but after purchase a fairly aggressive marketing re other products, which have no interest in. So unsubscribed as became a nuisance. But would revisit when any plumbing needs required. read more

The flashing water mechanism made of poor quality. It stopped working three days after it was installed. the water keeps running after flushing. They replaced the cistern but still the same problem. i will contact the company for refund read more

A mixed bag. what I ordered was good and arrived on time. Instead of sending me the one tap I ordered they sent a box of six. It took 2 weeks and 2 emails, 1 phone call and an hour on hold for them to answer my request to get them collected. that was £500 of stock for them and the customer services guy was very thankful for my honesty but if I hadn't chased them they probably wouldn't have replied read more

We ordered our whole bathroom from Plumbworld and would have gave it 4 stars for delivery and first initial thoughts on products, however I've changed my opinion since working with the items as the concealed cistern unit isn't the quality I first thought as in the process of removing the top section some of the surface came off the corner of the main unit so i now have a chip right in the corner for everyone to see. I haven't contacted anyone regarding this as it was done by me but it must have been the slightest of contact which caused it so not looking good for a long life. read more

I purchased a basin on a pedestal. Delivery prompt. Package undamaged. Product quality high. My only disappointment is that cabinet is not shaped to fit over the skirting board, and it's construction makes it difficult to adapt it. I hadn't anticipated having to cut out a section of my lovely skirting board. A redesign providing for this this might be useful to future purchasers. read more

Complete mess. I have been made to wait over 2 months for a vanity unit. Constantly changing devlivery dates even though the item appeared to be 'IN STOCK' when we placed the order. After a long wait they sent us the wrong item! They're only excuse is to blame the third party, sick of it! I have been very polite and patient, and what a cheek to be offered a refund after wasting our time.. and when asked how they will be compensating for messing around we were offer £25! Really need to fix up! Would not recommend to anyone not even an enemy! Would rather keep to Victoria plumb they're on point every time. read more

The toilet system we had did not fit their description, it was supose to be a glorious high gloss and came a dull grey. After many emails (most that were returned by automated messages) and phone calls, they arranged the return and a refund which turned out to only be a 3rd of what I paid. I am still after a week waiting for a reply and explanation and my full refund. read more

Evesham is where this company's HQ is based, but they are an Internet only business trading in everything you need relating to 'plumbing'. Now this covers a broad base of things, but you can get everything from a sink waste, kitchen sink, heating appliance, towel radiator, right up to a top of the range bathroom suite. They stock an immense range of items at prices which beat most other suppliers. Their delivery charges are amazing at about £5 and the goods and service are first class. We have bought several things from Plumbworld ranging from a bathroom basin to quadrant shower cubicle with 'all the trimmings'. Never been disappointed. read more

Truly terrible customer service! I phoned before ordering to get information about a product I was ordering on the internet. The agent convinced me to order with her on the phone instead. When the item arrived it was the wrong colour so I phoned to exchange it. I spoke to a very rude agent who talked over everything I tried tro say and told me it was all my fault for ordering the wrong thing. I tried to explain that the sales agent hadn't told me there was more than one colour and didn't ask what I wanted. But apparently I should have known this so they weren't going to take it back unless I paid my own shipping. One of the worst customer service experiences in my life. Probably a perfectly fine company if nothing goes wrong with the order. read more

Do not buy from this company!! Sink and pedestals were defective as they were not straight. There was a tilt from right to left and also from back to front as if they had warped. Replacement items were sent and they too were defective. I wish I could attach the photos so everyone could see how poor the quality is. Items were sent back at the end of April and I received an email saying my money had been refunded. It wasn't due to a 'technical glitch'. Numerous phone calls and escalation to the financial director and the managing director have got me nowhere. It is now the middle of May and I still do not have my refund. I have had to contact my credit card company to get their help to resolve this. If you check the positive reviews they have not had to deal with customer services. Look at the negative reviews to see what I mean. As soon as you have a problem you will regret buying from this company. read more

Don't be fooled by the other review. I bought a shower from these guys and the wrong one was sent. They don't answer e-mails, don't have a telephone number to call and don't leave you with a solution. They only leave you with the wrong stuff, out of pocket and no way to rectify it. I purchased in mid December 2013 and have sent loads of e-mails and it's now Jan 3rd and I have still to receive a reply! DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE! read more

Absolutely terrible customer service - rude and obnoxious, unable to answer any questions and/or engage in problem-solving activities, do not read the responses they are being given, pretty much advise to email MD[at]plumbworld.co.uk as are unable to resolve any issues themselves. Delivery terms and conditions are unclear at the point of order and you are only informed of REAL terms and conditions once the order is placed. REAL delivery terms require you to pay extra for delivery. Never saw the item (ordered ca. 2 weeks ago, dispatched at least 1.5 week ago), losing all hope by now. Stay as clear away as possible. read more

AVOID maybe cheap but no customer service to speak of. Ordered a number of items, when delivered some items were missing. So we called customer service line, held in long queues, left message and then tried several emails, to arrange delivery at a suitable time as not living at address due to refurbishment. No response! Several weeks later email sent by delivery company in evening to say delivery next day cannot give a time. Contacted delivery company by email as you cannot call and speak to anyone, to advise that no one would be there. By pure luck van driver rang to say problem with delivery and could give a specific time so could be there otherwise I would have cancelled remaining items. read more

A big online plumbing/bathroom store like several others. However their customer service is not good at all. I was sold a combination of items as bundle that did not work together. Customer services tried to tell me it was my fault but clearly had no knowledge of the parts at all. I doubt they'd ever done any bathroom fitting or plumbing in their lives so were useless. It took weeks of emails and failed deliveries before I got the correct parts. No way would I use them again. read more

Very disappointed, 1st and last order with plumbworld. Shower tray and door arrived with a part missing from the shower door that is clearly stated within the instruction booklet that came with the door, and so began tennis email with customer services (Jess) who neither offered a solution nor solved the issue....good luck if you try ringing them, I was on hold for 20 mins and gave up to begin emails to them....apparently the online manual for my product is different, this was after being told the item wasn't in the manual i had....until i sent a picture of it to prove it. Will shop elsewhere in future as there as plenty of other suppliers out there. read more

I've ordered Gloss White 300 deep tall unit from http://www.plumbworld.co.uk on 25/07/2011. I received the unit on 01/08/2011 and discovered the unit is of a very poor quality once I've opened the box (it was actually also misadvertised as a rigid unit, but in fact it turned out that it is a very poorly built pre-assembled unit), it was also very badly damaged, which could not been seen through the packaging. I straight away sent the complaint to the trader about the damaged Gloss White 300 deep tall unit on 01/08/11,as there is no telephone number for customer services (apparently the trader says on their web site that they are cutting back on their costs and they provide customer service only via e-mail), so I had to send an e-mail on 01/08/11, which was answered only on 03/08/11, after I provided them with photographic evidence of the damage. Plumbworld offered a replacement, which I received 09/08/11. Once the package was opened, I found out that the replacement item sent was of poor quality again and badly damaged (crack right through the side), I took a photo, signed for the goods as Damaged, sent it back with the delivery men and contacted Plumbworld asking for a refund on 09/08/11. Since 09/08/11 I've e-mailed Plumbworld multiple times asking them to refund my money and collect the damaged unit initially sent to me (when they sent a replacement they advised that the originally sent unit will only be collected once I am happy with the replacement. The replacement unit turned out to be of a poor quality and damaged again and I sent it back with the delivery men), I had no response since, which is 4 business days of waiting. I am extremely upset with such a poor customer service. It was nearly 3 weeks since my account was debited, but I have not received the promised quality goods since and the trader has not contacted me yet. There is no phone line for customer services either, only e-mail service, which I can't get a response from. The trader misadvertised the unit as a rigid one, but it is pre-assembled, the unit was sent twice in a very bad state (damaged) and of poor quality, and the trader does not respond to my enquiries for a refund. I find it extremely frustrating that the trader does not have a sufficient contact with the customers. I do not know how to get a refund for my goods and very upset by poor customer service and misrepresented advertisement. Also I have doubts about the truthfulness of the customer feedback on the Plumbworls web site. One of the customers wrote that the same unit as I purchased is of excellent quality, however, I've received the unit and the replacement unit and both were of poor quality and damaged. I find it hard to believe that someone could have got the same unit in a good quiality. read more

I had ordered from this Company three years ago, goods to fit an en-suite being built, everythign was really good qualioty and value for money. However, the mirrored cabinets decided, after about three months to lose the mirrors, we came home from an evening out to utter devastation in the bathroom, broken glass everywhere, wash basin chipped in several places, loo seat the same, plus ceramic tile had a large chunk out. Contacted Plumbworld, advised of a known design fault, and advised the cabinets would be replaced, together with damaged wash basin and loo seat. No mention of the tile, nor the cost of the fitting, but, heyho, that's life. New cabinets arrived with metal retaining clip top and bottom to secure mirrors. Would have been nice to have this model in the first place, broken glass in bathrooms is not ideal ! However, thought customer service pretty good compared to others, so when re-fitting family bathroom, ordered complete kit (bath, vanity unit + basin, loo, shower enclosure + shower and taps) from Plumbworld although no specified delivery date given at the time. Plumber came and ripped out exisitng bathroom, tiles removed and, unfortunately, caused more damage than anticipated so bathroom had to be re-plastered, causing havoc with plumber and tilers' schedules. Meantime goods arrived, all intact, no problems there, but the shower, when plumber came to fit it this week, was not the same size as the one that came out. As the walls have now been replastered and retiled, chasing out the wall for new pipes is not an option. The original pipes are encased in a stud wall behind the bathroom (put up for that purpose) so ripping out a whole wall and the floor laid after it is going just a little too far ! I emailed (that is all you can do, you cannot speak to anyone) relating my sorry tale and aksed if I could return the unused and still boxed shower as I had ordered the wrong one. The answer was no. I responded to that, advising that I am not a plumber and buying on the internet is buying blind to a certain extent and having a seven days only returns window is very restrictive. That email, and subsequent chasers have been ignored. How rude is that ! I will never buy from these people again, and would not ever recommend them to others, I shall use Victoria Plumb or Bathrooms.com in future. read more

My complaint is with the customer service at Plumbworld. Not their goods.I orederd shower plus e vanity sink and w.c. Paid app £35.00 for delivery on the Wednesday .My tracking order showed NOT SHIPPED .I was not informed of any out of stocks or why it hadnt been shipped out.upon emailing them after about 36hrs and requesting that if they had items not in stock to cancel the order as i needed them for the following Tuesday.I was emailed that everything was in stock being dispatched that afternoon on friday.Received email that afternoon to confirm that left warehouse to courrier.I was told 24 to 48 hrs after I would be contacted for delivery.At this stage i was sure i was going to receive this delivery Tuesday.On ringing their courrier I was told delivery hadnt arrived by 9amMonday to chase later but even if it came it would not be delivered next day for Tuesday but Wed as it was economy delivery .I was told if Plumbworld requested they would only do it then .i sent two emails to the company that day to request but by the end of the day i still hadnt been dealt with.As their email suggests that delivery has to be checked for damages whist driver is there and signed for, this day was chosen by me as my mother is in her ninties and she wouldnt have been able to do ths, so i was going to do this for her on Tuesday .This morning I received a reply to my email they could not change day of delivery with no explanation as if nothing of my email had been read.I was turned again down for delivery today by the courier so I travelled down to the depot where it was, with the plumber and picked it myself.I informed by email again at my dissatisfation but still no reply apparantly I am nearer the 200 mark in the queue .I would suggest try somewhere else if you are expecting a good customer service or speedy delivery otherwise you will be dissappointed read more

Poor Customer Service Purchased Mira Shower from Plumbworld, they stated to enter code CHRISTMAS to enter draw for purchasing Mira Shower. Code wasn't accepted still went ahead with the purchase. Rang Plumbworld to state code not being accepted incase same happens to other customers. They stated they would refer me to after sales but they cut me off! Second call made and Plumbworld stated basically tough luck can't do anything about it but phone Mira and they will. After speaking to Mira they were horrified that Plumbworld had informed me to phone Mira as Plumbworld had set the code etc. Third call made and employee stated he would contact marketing office and issue would be resolved. I would receive an email to confirm. No email received, 2 further calls later, 40 minute 'chat' to Plumbworld stating it's no longer the issue about the draw but the lies they had told me and appalling customer service. Explained I wanted to order and purchase a range of other items but disappointed of the poor customer service and concerned they were falsely advertising. Stating if you buy Mira Shower over £200 you be entered to draw! No apology given. Didn't purchase other items from Plumbworld but took my custom to VictoriaPlumbing. Far more superior customer service. Won't be buying from Plumbworld again as customer help/support/service is appalling. read more

I placed my first high value order, the item was delivered within 72 hours. The bathroom was complete and the plumber fitted the pump all seemed well and the wife loved the new shower. But to Saturday when I went to replace the draws and refill the cupboards i noticed a wet ring under the pump. Examined to check it was not the supplied installation kits screwed connections but was at the base / back of the pump. I emailed the sales representative on Saturday afternoon knowing i would not get a response until Monday. But then on their easy to use website found a "Report a Fault" completed the form and within seconds received confirmation a replacement order had been created and a new pump was to be delivered - totally assured of an excellent automated customer service - could not have been better and that the leaking unit could remain in operation until the replacement arrives - again this could not be better. To add to this service you receive as though again possibly automated a survey request from their MD James, again proving the comments placed on Trust Pilot the company is very customer satisfaction driven and I will be using again for plumbing items and would recommend to all to use. James well done you and your teams buying and customer formula is working well. Thank you this feedback has been worth the time to do. read more

In all my dealings with Plumbworld, I've had nothing but respect and praise for the way they operate. My orders have always been delivered on time (and on specific dates when requested) and they keep me updated via email on the status of my order. Most companies only let you know when they're dispatched, but Plumbworld go the extra mile and show you exactly what part of the process your order is at. The products they offer are extremely competitive and in comparison to B&Q and other 'big retailers' they're usually 20% cheaper on average (including delivery). Their checkout system is simple and I've paid via Paypal and card before with no problems. If you're concerned about their customer support, don't be. I ordered the wrong item which didn't fit my bath, emailed them and requested a swap, although I had to pay the standard delivery costs (which is more than fair, as it was my mistake) it was sorted out within a week very quick. Would recommend Plumbworld over any other big store or little store for that matter, as their prices, quality and service have been virtually perfect. ~JC read more

There are three things which determine whether I go back to a supplier: the quality of their products; cost which should include free delivery and service in case anything goes wrong or I have any questions. I found Plumbworld to be higher than average in all three areas. Indeed I not only did not buy from a major competitor but bought the majority of units from them. Many of the items I bough were compared against alternative suppliers and Plumbworld was found to be the cheapest by some margin. I had no problem with delivery but understand this can be affected by stock levels and manufacturers' supply issues. On one very small unit where there was a compatibility problem, a refund was immediately issued. The quality of all the units purchased was exemplary and met very high standards. Packaging is perfect to protect precious items. If you do encounter issues, I'd be surprised if customer service cannot resolve it for you quickly. For these reasons I am happy to recommend Plumbworld to professionals and non-professionals alike. read more

I was kept informed of expected date my shower enclosure was available for delivery and it was delivered on that date. There was an issue with a wrong part but customer services resolved this with their supplier. I am happy the ordering process and the advice given. The enclosure did not weigh a ton and from the reviews I have read a lot of customers seem to equate weight with quality. The so called flimsy structure when put together correctly is strong, sturdy and looks the business. That's modern design and engineering for you! I installed it myself and found the instruction perfectly adequate only problemI had was I dropped the small plastic profile cap and listened to it rattle down to the bottom after I had installed everything. Customer services have ordered me a replacement and I await delivery which seems to take an age but this is down to Plumbworld suppliers. Great price, if the moaners want a Ferrari go and pay for one , great value read more

I ordered online, was looking for a radiator cover that was easy to customise the height on since our house has very low sills that are close the the top of the radiator. I searched the usual places (Wickes & B&Q) but most were too tall for our needs and the design wasn't really adaptable for height alterations. Came across Plumbworld in a Google search after deciding against custom ones on Etsy that were over double what Plumbworld were charging. The design is easily adapted for the height we need and the price was very reasonable. It looks really really good and has hidden the ugly radiator in the living room behind something much more decorative and attractive... Nice to have a bit of a shelf area next to the sofa as well from this too. read more

I purchased a Hansgrohe 26089000 shower and it arrived the next day. It was very competitively priced. However, when our plumber installed it there were two problems. 1. the hand held shower head leaked badly from the rear and 2. there was a pinhole in the main mixer bar so a fine jet of water was spraying out. So much for Hansgrohe quality control! I contacted Plumbworld with video clips of the leaks and a replacement shower was sent out that same day, arriving the following day. That's great customer service as far as I'm concerned. Hansgrohe themselves have agreed to pay for our plumber to fit the replacement shower but, compared to Plumbworld, Hansgrohe customer service is very very slow. Top marks for Plumbworld. read more

Hi This is my first Time buying from Plumbworld & How impressed I am, We recently bought a new toilet & sink & unit which comes complete with taps all all necessities thats needed, along with a new pump. From the moment I ordered the level of communication has been amazing from text messages & emails times they were going to deliver which was bang on time etc, all items were very well packed & protected the quality also excellent I cannot fault the level of service I received & quality of product, I still have to have items fitted but I'm sure all will be fine Thanks Plumbworld I will be back in future & also forward on to family & friends Amazing keep the level of care up.. regards Mr J Jones read more

So many good things. The price for one. What you get for your money is brilliant. The quality of the furniture was way above what I expected for the price. The service is amazing. I ordered and it all came the very next day. The packaging. Oh my. I used to own a lighting firm and when certain items arrived the packaging was very impressive. Yours is the same. So well packed, there's not a chance of damage during delivery. Finally, the couriers. They took real good care of the boxes, despite them being big and heavy. They even brought them through the house to where we wanted to store them as my wife was alone when the delivery arrived. 5 stars to everyone. read more

Having looked at several wet room screens (700 with 300mm flip panel) from various suppliers many had hidden costs, extortionate delivery charges or very vague information regarding adjustability and even the actual size. Plumbers provided all detailed data and had the complete kit in stock at a good price. The ordering process on line was straight forward and delivery time and charge to scotland very reasonable. The goods arrived in good condition and the delivery company excellent. Installation was straight forward, all components fitted well and were of Good quality. Finished assembly is strong and looks great. A good company to deal with, recommended. read more

I originally purchased a toilet and washbasin combined for a new Downstairs loo. It was delivered on time with no problems at a good price. We decided to have a full bathroom refurbishment upstairs, and consequently we chose Plumbworld again for the entire bathroom. As we had little storage space, they kept the suite until our fitter was ready. I inadvertently ordered the wrong taps upon delivery, and Plumbworld refunded me and I ordered a replacement set. I have found this company very reasonably priced and very efficient when contacting via email or phone. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. read more

I really wanted one of the bathroom suite packages but needed a different size vanity unit for my bathroom. A quick email asking if it was possible to switch and they couldn't have been more helpful. Even called to check i had everything I needed. When it came to ordering the person I was dealing with was on annual leave but made sure he left notes for his colleagues to make sure my order was correct. Outstanding customer service. I haven't fitted the bathroom yet so can't comment on them so much but looking at them out of the boxes, they look great and definitely good for the price I paid read more

I was recommended to order a new shower by a friend who is also my plumber. It was easy to order online and the shower arrived in good time. Because of an error on my part I had to ring up and return it and replace it with another model. The new shower arrived the next day and the old one returned to the courier. This was done with a minimum of fuss and my credit card was refunded very quickly with the cost of the original purchase. The shower was easy to install and works perfectly. The composite granite sink we were after was out of stock, not surprising as it was competitively priced, but delivery was expected within 7 days. Used online message service a few days later to check that expected date had not changed and the customer service operator offered to email a link so as soon as stock arrived I would be advised and could make payment, in effect reserving a sink for me. Delivery service was great, kept informed en route as to delivery time and delivered within the advised time slot. Courteous driver. read more

I placed an order from Plumbworld for a Laminated worktop, When the worktop arrived it was very well packed and when unpacked it was perfect, the worktop arrived well within the time frame given, I was kept informed of the delivery date and on the day of the delivery the driver phoned me to say he was about twenty minutes away , when he arrived he was very pleasant and helpful person. The worktop is now fitted and looks very good, I am very pleased with how things went so smoothly thanks to all concerned. read more

The website has a good selection of well-priced items. it is easy to use. one thing was out of stock and that was clear on the website, also noting when it would be back in stock. I placed my order and the customer services comms were ideal - informative without being spammy! Both deliveries turned up when scheduled. Plumbworld were helpful and knowledgeable. They actually answered the phone, which was an excellent start. The lady knew her products, could answer my question and could help me place the order, with the right accessory added on. The product then arrived in a timely manner and was installed by my plumber and works well. What more could I ask form a company? Oh yes! They had the best price I could find as well! So I paid as little as possible for the best service! Excellent! Highly recommended! read more
