The only reason I am giving this drs office 3 stars instead of 1 is because of my PC Dr. Dana Culp,…read moreshe is absolutely PHENOMENAL. The staff here are rude and inconsiderate, they gossip, they don't care about patient rapport or maintaining a positive pleasant environment. Just because you are the only drs office in the town of Portola, it doesn't mean you get to treat patients horribly as front desk staff. I feel so fortunate to have found Dr. Culp by accident, needed to get in last summer and she was the first available- so thankful that she was because I have had nothing but amazing and positive experiences with her. She is so understanding and kind and her bedside manner is way too good for this clinic. If she ever relocated to another office I would happily follow her.

She's great at adapting her teaching style for all levels and is very attentive to her students' needs. I came into Jackie's class a beginner to yoga, but grew and deepened my practice so much under her direction. I was constantly challenged, both mentally and physically, every session. She really changed my preconceived notions of how strong I really was. Jackie is an amazing yoga teacher and an incredibly warm and genuine person. I'm so thankful to have met her!

She deeply cared about my growth and constantly pushed me to go further. For example, towards the end of class before savasana she held an open workshop time where students could hone in on particular poses. During those times, she taught me various inversion poses that I never thought I would be able to do. She tunes her classes for the audience and advances the difficulty as the students' progress. She proactively adjusts incorrect postures and suggests modifications to poses so students can see what works best for their bodies. I couldn't be more grateful to have met Jackie, she's a truly wonderful teacher and human being.
