TLDR: Stay away, because they don't provide any value…read more I highly recommend you stay away from Raymond James even if you are intimidated by personal finance and believe you need help managing your money. That's in part because the entire profession has no fiduciary duty (an indisputable fact), but also because RJ fees (both visible and invisible) are ridiculous. Basically they'll try to sell you on maintaining a high "floor" and avoiding risk which sounds great, because who wants to lose money? But in truth, they are just taking your money in the form of direct fees and/or "revenue shares" (read kickbacks, the invisible fees I mentioned before) that incentivize them to point their clients towards expensive investments that under perform. I personally have lost tens of thousands of dollars investing with Raymond James as compared to just indexing the US stock market. The reason I worked with them is that my parents recommended them (my parents have since left as well -- they were paying INSANE fees to Raymond James that I am ashamed to admit.)

Tyler takes the time to inform and to educate ... he listens, explains and cares. Highly intelligent -- his integrity, accessibility and acumen are second to none. One always has a sense of respect and collaboration. I have interacted with Dawn, Tyler's sales associate, on many occasions, and am always grateful for the strong lines of communication and high degree of responsiveness I experience. There is no question in my mind that, with Raymond James -- in partnership with Tyler and Dawn -- my financial future is in the best possible hands. It feels good to be able to say that....

So far not a good experience. Overall once they received the first insurance payment there was no…read morereliable assistance or knowledgeable accountability. Let's start with the fact Michigan apparently doesn't offer a guaranteed renewable policy, I received this because I still have never in my life had an at fault accident. You would think if you are going to lose something that important a call might be made to update you on such a loss to give a heads up. I still have this on vehicles in Florida. No such consideration. I had to call to ask. I had drive and save in Florida. The transponder was in the vehicle when it was relocated to Michigan. It was inactive when the new policy went into effect. Elizabeth never bothered to share after my calling over 3 times and emails sharing concerns a new responder wasn't being received in the mail that the current transponder could have been updated in the system. It never occurred to her during my multiple calls and emails to her that hey, maybe we can use the one you have. I considered Elizabeth as someone who is supposed to know such things. You know, maybe help things go smoothly with support. April, well she she made the elegant excuse (mollification) that they sent 3 transponders and you didn't activate them in time so your policy is now an extra $15 a month for the next 3 months. "There is nothing we can do." Not even an I am sorry or expression of concern in her voice but instead defensiveness and simply excuses. April is the office manager by the way. I never received bills to even be able to make the second monthly payment. I had to again call Elizabeth so I wouldn't be late and was told to call the 800 number. Some confusion then ensured by her about how to set things up so I could get emails to be aware of policy changes and billing and some grumbling about how my daughter is currently getting such information. As someone who the primary person paying the bills, this is important to me. My Miami, Florida office made at least 2 or 3 calls to me in the process of transferring this vehicle to complain about this office to me over the course of a over two months from the time of beginning the vehicle transfer! The last one being a little over two weeks ago that began with what are they doing over there.... FINALLY, a transponder is received by mail after my multiple calls and emails by me to the Campbell agency. Of couse, the information for activating the transponder also turns out to be an overly time consuming nightmare or at this point circus. My daughter was activating it because at this point I am back in Florida. She is a driver on the vehicle. Multiple attempts to activate it. I finally thought to check my email. Oh, imagine that, her phone isn't properly linked to her email. Again an excuse from April. However we had the same setup when the vehicle was with my daughter in Orlando and managed by the Miami office. Never an issue when managed in Florida. I also received proper updates to pay the bill, never any issues or such clusters while also having her on the account and having her manage the transponder. So, back to the extra $15 a month due to the circus related to the transponder. Tom can't fix it, but corporate has sent an email for follow up by him if possible with his underwriting department. I am waiting on a call from him. What do I want, accountability. I am not the subject matter expert on any of this. I did my job as the client. As an agency, do your job a little better. If this is unable to be rectified in the system why should I stay and allow another error to cost me money that the local Thomas Campbell agency can't fix? Regarding the need to match my daughter's information to her account so there are no issues keeping the transponder up to date, that is in the final stages of being fixed by corporate where I have not received excuses, but appropriate action. It has again however required over an hour of my time because they even witnessed the problem with the account information as verification took over 30 minutes. Why, oh we figured out the Thomas Campbell agency had my phone number actually saved as my daughter's for the vehicle I have in Michigan. In conclusion as I write this review, this is still ongoing to complete details to have things up to date. My daughter has to call corporate so they can verify her and properly match without excuses her information to the account so the transponder can easily be maintained by her when I am not physically present in Michigan. Because again I fear any issue will lead to the loss of the discount and the local office has been unsuccessful in setting this up in a manner that would be considered to go relatively SMOOTHLY. This should have NEVER in my opinion been so disorganized. The excuses are what have bothered me the most. Tom offered at one point a gift card to a restaurant for my daughter. I don't feel comfortable with that. I would prefer the issue be managed in the syst

When it came time to show the practice to buyers the broker had multiple personal conflicts which delayed the showings and ultimately the sale for months. The broker brought several potential prospects to the office stating they were all screened and were good potential buyers. As it turned out my buyer was not in an immediate position to buy my practice. He hadn't been properly vetted as I had been told. When it came time for the closing, the papers were taken to the bank giving control and ownership of my practice to the buyer with no money paid to me and no promissory note. I was told that the bank would wire the money in 24-48 hours and I should trust them. No one would transfer the title of their house without receiving payment. In my opinion after the financial melt down of 2008, banks are not be trusted. The DBS broker should have protected me better. Account receivables were still hanging out there but my broker stopped talking to me after she received her commission check. I had to engage my lawyer to complete the sale. I started a year in advance getting the necessary documents together so that by January of 2017 the practice would be sold. Instead it is the end of March and I am still dealing with it. I would not recommend this company for selling a dental practice. Even after writing this review the company did nothing to make my experience better. Run don't walk away from them.
