Best course in Stark County if not in the Northeast Ohio. Pretty fast greens but they hold an approach shot well.

This a very nice golf course. Customer service is great and the course is very good setup that is adaptable to many styles of play.

I went there Sat afternoon & golfed 9 holes with my wife & 4 yr old son. Sunday I go back to golf 18 & I am told by the asst pro that I can not take my son out, but was not given a reason why. The previous day the owner was out on the course with the LOUD Tractor & never said a word. I was told he had to be 16... On the way out the drive I caught the owner & asked him about it. He tells me that the min age is 8. I told him that they better get their shit together BC I was just told in the club house that it was 16. I have spent well over $1000 at this course over the years but I WILL NOT SPEND ANOTHER $1 HERE. We also all know that they cheat Stark out of tax money by not having any sand traps so they call it farm land... WHAT A JOKE! read more

Our 18 hole golf course features 6,172 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. The course rating is 70 with a slope rating of 115 on Bent grass. Designed by Ferdinand Garbin, ASGCA, and Jim Harrison, the Pleasant View Golf Club opened in 1965. Donald L. Orwick manages the course as the superintendent. Michael Rubin is the Director of Golf at the course.

History

Established in 1965.

Pleasant View Golf Club is a Family owned and operated golf course near Canton, Ohio. Founders Harry and Lola Orwick broke ground in 1964 to build a course for all playing abilities. In 1965, the first 9 holes opened to the public. Construction still continued until 1967 when the second nine holes was completed. To this day, the course is still run by Harry and Lola's son, Donald L. Orwick as the Superintendent and by their grandson, Michael Rubin as the Director of Golf.

This golf course hires meth addicts and lets them even stay on the property in the house rental that's crazy and not very professional.my daughter was made to be very uncomfortable by one of the groundskeepers as he approached her several times asking for her number and for a date and asked if she partied! I was forced to tell the man to scram and do not ever approach her again in such a disrespectful annoying manner! I'll never return here again read more
