actually had to delete my last review to be able to leave this one. My last review was after two…read moretimes of going there for an oil change and having a great experience. When we went for oil they were fast and friendly and reasonably priced. So when we bought my husband a (new to him) truck and it wouldn't start we had remembered seeing the oil pit announcing on their facebook that they were starting full mechanic work so we obviously wanted to give them a try since the two previous oil experiences had been great. Sadly for us our experience this time was awful enough that I'm making myself stop and take the time to write this review to warn others. We dropped our truck off and told them we wanted it diagnosed as to why it wouldn't start and wanted something in writing if it was a serious issue so that we could present it to the place we bought the vehicle from. That was all agreed upon and we left. Several days later they called us to let us know they believed it to be something broken in the gear shifter, that the repair & an inspection would be $263, no charge for the diagnosis or the print out that we needed. We agreed. Several days later they call us to pick up the vehicle. When we got there to pick it up we went inside and (yes this was a mistake) paid them before attempting to start the truck. When we went to leave the truck would not start. We made them aware that the truck was not starting (which is the thing we brought it there for) - the man came outside apologizing profusely and guaranteed us they would figure out why, get it starting, and it would not cost us another dime. HIS EXACT WORDS. Several days later they call us to pick it up and when we get there the man is asking for $70. I turned on my voice recorder on my phone because I was getting an extremely unprofessional and dishonest vibe at this point. He went on to explain to us what they did and what the issue was, then asked us for more money. I started by saying I was not trying to be rude but I needed them to explain where the more money was coming from when we paid $263, it still didn't start (and they had called us saying it was fixed, it started, and it was ready for pick up) , and he guaranteed us it would not cost another dime. This man went right to yelling at me about how he wasn't making shit off this at this point and I needed to pay it or he wasn't giving me the print out I needed to show the place we bought the truck from their professional (i say that lightly now) opinion on the problem with the truck. Then before I could say another word this man tells me he isn't giving me the print off no matter what and basically to fuck off. At this point I was so glad I was recording because otherwise I'm not sure I would of even believed it myself. I don't understand how they could go from being so quick and nice during oil changes to this awful experience - but it happened! They definitely should have stuck to changing oil because they do not know what they are doing mechanically and are trying to get over on people financially

I told him that they needed to be able to withstand gravel roads, and he assured me that they would be perfect for my vehicle and use-case. Not even a year later, a tire goes flat, had to drive on gravel due to local flooding, and called up Bob's tire to get it warrantied. He flat up told me no, there is no warranty, and that he does not do flat repair. What tire shop does not work on tires? Also why would they not just warranty fix the problem, and move on? And to top it all off, the owner decided to not work on my vehicle, I also needed an inspection, told me to come pick it up and proceeded to just hang up on me! Absolute terrible customer service, I will NEVER recommend him or his shop ever again, and would like to warn everyone else to stay away!

I took the tires off of my car and took them to Lees Tire in Moberly…read more When I went back this afternoon to pick them up all 4 of my rims had identical scratches on them. One was covered in grease. I went in to to speak with the owner about it. He came out and looked at them and told me they didn't do that. I assured him they weren't there when I brought them to him. He said "he told me he didn't make any money off them anyway, he asked me if I by steak and take it to a restaurant to have them cook it, he told me to get a lawyer he didn't care" and walked off. Obviously very poor customer service. I went back in and asked for the home office number. He said "he sat right there and watched them put those cheap ass tires on and we didn't scratch them". I called explained what happened, he said his son already called, he also said there should be a sign stating not responsible for damage to aluminum rims. He told me that he can't replace my rims but would refund the $90 it cost to mount and balance. I went back and gave him my debit card. I asked him about the sign. He said "it's not posted right now due to painting". I said that didn't do me any good. He then threw my debit card at me and said I'm not giving you anything. I called back The home office. Told him what happened. He said sorry. You know as well as I do that you brought them to us scratched we didn't do it and said there was nothing he could do and hung up. Long story short...if you want good customer service, not be called a liar and a business that will make good on their mistakes, you might think about where you take your vehicle.
