Named after Saint Cecilia, the patron of music. There is a beautiful alter dedicated to her in the front of the plaza
This is a great plaza to visit when you are in Tijuana. Mariachis can be seen/heard in the plaza .
The plaza is very colorful and authentically decorated. Tons of vendors selling blankets, hats, shoes ect.
Also many places to eat, drink and or people watch.
You can easily spend the entire day here!! read more
Am I the first to review in English!? COOL.
This was one of my favorite spots in Tijuana.
Colorful and beautiful. Mariachis. Bright storefronts. Restaurants. People selling their wares.
Great spot for photographs.
It's honestly not all that big which is a bummer and I was hoping for more souvenir variety.
You'll still get hassled by people trying to get you to come into their restaurant but they are not as aggressive as the ones on Avenida Revolución.
Just look for the big arches from Avenida Revolución and you'll find it. read more
A beautiful, colorful, interesting place to shop. Lots of walking, with plenty of stores and street vendors to shop. There were artists & crafters as well. I picked up some nice pieces and souvenirs. read more
