I went to plaza since they were recommended by Jay's Chapel. I was disappointed with the standing spray flowers that I ordered for my family funeral services. The flowers were delivered on the day of the service and flowers were already dying so disappointed they should have been fresh and they looked like they were made several days before. Went several times to the cemetery and it is 6 days after the funeral service all the other sprays are holding up and still look fresh as the day they were delivered except the flowers from Plaza flowers. I would think twice about choosing your flowers from Plaza you will pay a lot more for the flowers and you be disappointed in the quality in their workmanship. read more

Looked at previous reviews due to having a somewhat eeehh experience with another flower shop down the street, the moment I walked into this shop I was greeted with a smile, the lady behind the counter was very helpful, showed me dIfferent options and answered all my questions. I was there at 8:30am, ask for them to be delivered before 1pm at my girlfriends job which they said was no problem. Nevertheless at 10:30am i get phone call from my girl thanking me for the beautiful flower arrangement, stuffed animal and chocolates the employee suggested! As a last minute birthday surprise for our mom, we called Plaza Flower shop hoping we could get a same day delivery out to Madera Ranchos, and much to our surprise they were very accommodating, so sweet and helpful. I can't for the life of me remember where I wrote the sweet ladies name that helped me over the phone. Whatever her name was thank you so much for making our moms day just a little more special. As I told you over the phone she absolutely loves flowers and was thrilled to have received such a beautiful arrangement. She sent me this photo of the delivery driver and her bouquet. If you know my mom you know she is a flower fanatic and couldn't stop telling me how fresh and beautiful the flowers looked & smelled, she was so excited to receive a small surprise from my brother & I since we weren't able to make it out to her today. I will look for a new florist next time. While they were pretty helpful in the beginning, I was disappointed in the flowers. First they are extremely overpriced. Baby's breath is one of the cheapest flowers, not worth $25, especially when stores like Walmart carry them for around $5. And the carnations were wilting by the second day! Carnations have always lasted a week or more, it's why I buy them. Luckily the flowers looked good for the dinner they were bought for, but for the cost I expected so much more. read more

My boyfriend ordered flowers for me from this shop & had them delivered to my home. It was a gorgeous arrangement of red roses & red carnations with white lilies, white daisies, babies breath & greenery in a large clear vase with red ribbon. I was so excited to receive such a wonderful surprise! However, I was very disappointed to discover that some of the flowers were already wilted less than 10 hours after they were delivered! Upon further investigation, I noticed that the drooping flowers had not been inserted deeply enough into the vase, so they weren't getting any water. These flowers were not cheap & he even paid extra to ensure that they would be delivered by a certain time. The person who made the arrangement should have taken more care to ensure that all the flowers were down in the water. That's just a no-brainer. We will not be purchasing flowers from this shop again. read more

I came in one day, very last minute and late to my best friend's graduation, to ask for a unique floral arrangement. The staff allowed me to carefully examine the flowers and make the selections I wanted. Her expertise then completed the arrangement with compliments appropriate for the flowers I had selected. They had a variety of flowers to choose from. I wanted the bouquet to reflect a Fresno State theme, so white, red and purple for blue flowers made sense. She gave comments and recommendations for what would really work, especially with the ribbon and note as finishing touches. I did not have a single problem here and always come in for something I need to be well made. I can depend on the service at this shop. The only concern I have is over the price of the arrangements. I believe the values are set a bit too high, quite a lot actually. SaveMart and Walmart could easily substitute for any arrangement needs, but if you want unique, personable arrangements, come here, talk to the staff and help them understand your needs.
