I went to the market for some fresh baked bread and bagels. While I was there, I was persuaded to purchase a vegan sandwich and some organic vegetables. I had to stop myself because there were quite a bit of other things that caught my eye too. The market is set up right below the highway and was very easy to get to. There is a public parking lot right next to it as well as lots of street parking. I found the Instagram page for the market and the website to be very helpful and informative with information like times, vendors and explanations on how to arrive. All of this adds up for a uniquely Baltimore experience with something for everyone.

It's located right in the city of Baltimore under the highway bridge on E Saratoga St. Street parking is free and i guess there is a way to reserve parking in line now. Mercy hospital has also offered free parking in an adjacent lot. The market is open on Sundays for the season and is such a delight. The vendors are very busy but eager to assist. The prices are fair. Need a coffee fix? The local Zeke's coffee is on site to assist! Many fresh foods, plants, and seafood to choose from. Definitely worth a visit!

I got a pretzel log from the pretzel vendor (a must at an Amish market if you've never had one) and a smoothie from the ladies in the back right corner. Both were delicious. The market gets very busy on Saturdays so be prepared for some lines. The pretzel log line was long but it moved quickly. There is a big parking lot for the shopping center, so we did not have to circle around for a spot like you do at the market in Laurel.

I wouldn't recommend this place for the normal grocery type food items from other companies because they were very pricey but if you don't have a vehicle or just want something out of convenience, I would understand from a business aspect how it works for people in the community. Tomatoes is one of my favorite foods and the ones here were huge, healthy looking and offered at a great price. I may also venture back for the bulk grains since they were reasonable priced. As I looked around, I heard the owner having a conversation with a customer about farming and other environmental topics and he really seems to know his stuff. Though the staff told me the donuts were baked fresh that morning, I wish they were freshly warmed to order but they were still yummy nonetheless.
