So while I was on the island, I needed to stop at the store and pick up some Gatorade. The person I was traveling with said we need to go to plaza extra. I was like, that sounds fine, as I had never even heard of the store before.
As I walked through the door, it took me a second to realize that this was no ordinary grocery store... As the first thing I saw was riding lawn mowers and solar converters. And that was just the beginning.
The more I walked around the store, the more things that I saw that I was not expecting. Flat screen TVs, clothing, luggage, and a lot of big box items. Seriously, this looks like what the child of Costco and a major grocery store would have.
I will say this, everything was neat and clean and tidy, and the shelves were neatly, stocked and faced. You can tell whoever worked there took pride in making sure everything looked good.
The only downside that I had was the girl that was checking me out, seemed like she really didn't want to be there. She didn't greet me, she just scanned the items and didn't even say anything at all. No Hi how are you, no can I help you with anything else, nothing. I really hope customer service is not dead.
Bottom line? If you are in the islands and you are looking for something, chances are this place has it. I would have given it five stars had it been for the nonchalant attitude of the girl checking me out. That being said, this place has pretty much anything you could possibly want. read more
