This allowed each of us to get to know the horse we were going to ride for a couple of hours. Helmets were provided which was awesome as we had two teens in the group. The nature and beauty of the trails was beyond compare. It is truly a wonderful tour and at no time did I fee worried or concerned for our safety. Stephanie was wonderful and a delight and Carlos was quick and extremely helpful if there was a horse not minding. I highly recommend this horseback excursion -- great for all ages and abilities. Plus we got a good lesson on farm life !! We will be checking in about 11 months !

If you come make sure to try the bomb micheladas, charales (little dried fish), fried fish, native candy, ice cream etc. Beat days to come are during the week in the afternoon when most of the vendors are also open for business. Make sure togo on a boat ride to one of the two island on the lake. You can definitely pick up some authentic Mexican souvenirs. The boardwalk also has a couple of seafood restaurants and hotels. A think this is a great place to visit it isn't that well known by many tourists. If you leave the boardwalk and head into town (walking distance) you will see the local cathedral, municipal buildings, drug stores, cafes, bakeries, mercado, plaza, rodeo, fair grounds and many other great stores. For 50 pesos, you can either zip line or go through the suspension bridge. I would've love to do the zip line, but alas my friends all wanted to do just the suspension bridge. I would've enjoyed the walk on the suspension bridge more, however, we did stopped by a couple of places for fruit liquor tastings. Talk about a dizzy walk. A refreshment stand as well as another stand to grab fresh coconut to drink. I opted for the latter.

This was her 6th zoo visit within the past few years. This was, by far, the best zoo I have visited. Bikram Yoga Provindencia is definitely a serene place to practice your yoga. The property is graced with greenery, bamboo, and bougainvillea flowers. The studio is spacious, clean and has an amazing view of the meditative courtyard. Additionally, the studio floor is not carpet, so that funky hot yoga smell is not entrenched in the floor. The shower room has plenty of sizable showers. Cool and contemporary. I took the 8:30 am class with Arturo, and his class was amazing and personable. Don't't skip the coconut water man who sells it fresh in front of the studio before class starts. The vibe here was totally welcoming and felt right at home. I will definitely visit again. Very different feel from the BIKRAM YOGA GUADALAJARA (BYG) studio. Even though BYG has a spa ( massages, facials, laser hair, wax, etc), I am still enamored with Providencia. Check out my pics!!!
