I attempted to cancel. It was a non-refundable rate. Hotel had option to allow me to cancel but refused. OK. So in return for me paying for a room that I won't use, I'm giving this negative review and will do so on every travel site that I can find on the Internet. I'd e-mailed the hotel directly to give them the opportunity to allow me to cancel my booking mistake. They basically replied "Tough luck".

The rooms were spacious, clean and had their own air conditioning unit. The breakfast we had every morning was very good. I enjoyed the variety of food that was on offer, I especially liked the carrot, orange and lemon juice. Only complaint would be the wifi, whilst it was free to use it was rather hard to connect to. Sometimes it took us 30mins+ to get to the log in page on other occasions we just had to give up and do without. Overall had a great stay here and would highly recommend the Holiday Inn here at Vulcano Buono.
