They did not do anything, took all my $1,975; ketp it and told me that it was not returns but my kid can come back to finish the season.. In which mind I am going to have my 9th year old to come back to this Team Chicago where all they did for him was destroyed his dream and lost confidence. I would never go back here and I would not recommend to take your kids here.. They are only caring to keep your money. I believe if you die or anyone die they still will not give you any money back. I would secure my bank accounts making sure they don't scam by trying to get more money. So low of them as a non profit organization, greedy. I have a broken 9th year old; they will not give me any money back after he only being part of the season for one month. He missed so many classes becasue he was being abuse. The season still have 7 more months of them using my money to build their new buildings. They were very rude telling me that I would not see any money back.

It is not on any of the Team Chicago / WAA websites nor in any written documentation distributed during registration. For the 2011-2012 soccer tryouts, Team Chicago pulled a fast one. They raised the commitment (sign-up) fee to $300 (originally $200 in prior years) and held 2 soccer tryouts (one in early May and one in early June). In prior years, tryouts were held in early June, the same week all other soccer clubs have their tryouts so your child has a chance to tryout at various clubs (a fair method for existing travel soccer players). However this year, during their May tryouts they said you had 48 hours to commit or else they would not hold a spot on the soccer team which your child was offered. Well guess what, I paid. They cashed my check before the next (June) tryouts. We got a better opportunity at another soccer club and de-committed at Team Chicago that same week of the June tryouts. The front office person was nice and told me refunds were running 2 weeks late meaning others were in the same boat as I was. Well turns out 6 months later after getting the run around so many times the Team Chicago Director, who never took the time to talk to me nor answer any of my emails finally said no ( I had to get the parent company -Wheatlands Athletic Association's Manager of Finance and Operations to get a response). SO BEWARE. Team Chicago / WAA is a non-for-profit organization so they don't care about keeping customers as they know you won't return.

What we appreciate most is how much the coaches care about every player. They take the time to support each child and create a positive, motivating environment. It's been a great experience for our family, and we're really happy to be part of CSA.

It was apparent right away that the coaches all have a past history of higher level soccer experience. They meet each child where they are at and truly care about their growth as a player and in character. A culture of mutual respect is expected amongst players, coaches, teammates, and families. Both of our sons IQ of the game has grown tremendously as the coaches take the time at practices and trainings to stop play to positively discuss and encourage critical thinking with players about what else they could have done during the play to enhance their game. The club is very organized in communicating with parents and we are encouraged to have open communication with coaches and other staff about our children. There is also a place for all players depending on their skill and understanding of the game and I feel the coaches really keep an eye out and do a great job of placing kids where they will grow the most in confidence and skill (this also includes pathways for higher level play and opportunities when a child is ready for it). Not only do our boys current team coaches pour into them, but other coaches across the club have also put time and efforts into coaching them at practices, futsal, camps, street soccer, and trainings. We couldn't be more happy at Chicago Soccer Academy of Fox Valley and seeing the growth our boys have made this year.
