I think this might actually be the best school in Tulsa. I've researched a lot of daycares through DHS and visited ones with top DHS records and nothing seems to quite compare to Primrose. The student to teacher ratio here is amazing. After seeing Primrose with infants especially and comparing to other schools, I don't think I could send an infant anywhere else now, the care and peace of mind at Primrose is just too great.

Since the new director has taken over, we have noticed a huge uplift in the atmosphere of the facility. The director is AMAZING and has done a fantastic job of keeping the families engaged. After 14 months, we made the decision to withdraw our son…read more During his enrollment, he was moved between five classrooms. In his final classroom, the ratio was approximately 24 children to 2 teachers. Shortly after that placement, we began receiving daily calls to pick him up within 1-2 hours due to alleged "aggressive behavior" that has never been observed at home or elsewhere. Concerned, we observed the classroom via camera ourselves and did not witness the behaviors described. Our son has a documented egg allergy, with physician documentation and an EpiPen on file. Despite this, he was served food containing egg and began showing signs of an allergic reaction, which was extremely alarming. We frequently received incident reports when he was blamed for behavior, yet when he came home with bite marks, bumps, or bruises, we received no calls or documentation. Meal reports consistently stated he ate all food provided, yet he came home hungry and reported not eating. In the past several months, we also stopped receiving photos of his daily activities, and he no longer brought home crafts, schoolwork, or holiday projects. It appeared as though students were not regularly sitting for activities, coloring, or making pictures. We also noticed a pattern of other 2-3-year-old boys enrolling and leaving within short timeframes. In our experience, the classroom environment appeared overwhelmed, and concerns were not handled consistently or transparently.

They genuinely care for our kids and provide creative and tactile curriculum that is age appropriate and fun. Tuition also includes gymnastics and we are equally pleased with the gym. We have the kids there year round because the gym offers summer and holiday camps.

The basketball ball leagues for kids are very affordable and well organized. We will definitely sign our son up again next season. The have 2 large gym areas and offer several activities for the community. They are able to pack a lot of gym equipment into a small space and the workout rooms are always busy. This location also offers a pool. On the down side, with Bixby growing so fast the location is too small and always crowded. The facility is also in desperate need of some updates. Would love to see some life added back to such a wonderful community resource.
