If you're in the area it's definitely a place to go to. We did a day trip from Munich and it took about 2 hrs from Munich HBF. Primarily German signage everywhere but if they see foreigners the staff do explain rides in English. Unlike other amusement parks targeted at young children -- where it's often just about the merchandise -- we're now in the third hour of our first visit to the park and I've not yet seen an opportunity to buy playmobile. My daughters don't want to stop playing, even to eat, despite the high quality concessions, much better than you'd expect at an amusement park of this size. One of the more interactive and least commercial amusement parks I've seen. If you're visiting Munich, and only have time for one park, skip Legoland and come here. read more

Our son loved it so much. The only thing we had we didn't know that we had to buy tickets online only and we had to wait outside for afternoon time and there were no place to stay, I mean restaurant or cafe. So you have to have something like waiting place. read more

i have been a fan for four decades and finally, a dream come true!:) it is quite possibly three decades too late, as this place is best enjoyed if you are ten and younger. nonetheless a pilgrimage here is a must for all playmobil fans out there, young and not so young, especially since this year is playmobil's 40th anniversary! happy anniversary, playmobil!! a special shout out to hans beck too, thank you for your ingenious creation!!! this is a very affordable summer's day out at €10. covering the whole park in one day is quite easily done but a leisurely two days stroll will, more likely than not, double the fun. not for the adrenaline junkies who love rides, stay away, as you will be bored to death here! but for the hands on participation of each visitor who likes to be active and stay active. you transport yourself, you create your own fun, the fun park facilitates. the all weather HOB-center means fun continues rain or shine. this place is a self-contained unit, performance stage, climbing garden, F&B options, a museum of sorts and lots and lots of playmobil toys in different themed areas for free play. if you get past that initial 1500sqm of fun, another 90,000sqm of great outdoors themed areas awaits you. the power paddler boats and farm house tractor course will probably present your biggest challenge with respect to queuing. the balance course and adventure area requires a lot more adult supervision than others. the wild west, empire castle, dinosaurs, pirate waters and stone quarry areas suspends reality and stimulates imagination. plentiful places to get wet and dirty, if that floats your boat, your best bets are the water play area and the sand and mud play area. and of course do remember to visit the shop, on your way out, to ogle at all the toys that you don't own and maybe add one or more pieces to your collection. how i wish i can buy one of those life size playmobil characters! but alas the largest available character for sale is around the height of my hands and they are limited edition pieces(1000) costing between €129-228. perhaps, for now, i'll just continue to admire them from a distance. p.s. do stay at the playmobil aparthotel, which is an easy walk away, for a complete packaged experience. read more

This place was fun. We showed up with about 2.5 hours left in the day. We parked in the parking the parking garage and it was only 1 euro for our time there. Kids were a bit disappointed that the pirate ship that is advertised on everything was not open, but there were plenty of other things to entertain them. There is an area inside and outside. The inside are didn't have much for the little-little kids to do, but the part below ground was a hit. Outside there was lots to do. Some things had lines, other things you could just do on your own. It was a little cold to do the water features while we were he, but they would be great fun in the summer. read more

If you have children up to age 11 or so you really can't go wrong here. there are lots of things to do both inside and out. Unlike a theme-park, with their must-ride attractions, this place will tend to cause your kids to want to play in one place for hours, allowing you to wander off for coffee and pastries. They have dozens of the newest Playmobil sets and vehicles so it isn't usually a problem for your child to get to play with what they want. the larger sets are all glued together so each kid doesn't have to rebuild them each time. I should have done this at home. Outside are boat rides, a castle to climb on and some raised troughs of water for the Playmobil boats among other things. Plan to get wet on a hot day. The cafeteria style food is pretty good for a place like this, I had a half roast chicken, but they also have sausages and pizza of course. I also had a beer in a mug that was a perfect scaled-up version of a Playmobil wooden mug. Hold on to your receipt from coffee or food because they return a deposit to you when you take your dishes back with the receipt. As you exit the park they have a store for buying Playmobil sets. It's sort of designed for you to wait until you leave to buy things so they don't get mixed up with the park toys. Your kids will not be disappointed. read more

This is a great place for keeping your kids entertained for HOURS. Lots to do for toddlers right up to age 10ish. Very interactive, good indoor and outdoor options and nice and quiet if you go midweek during the school term like we did ;) read more
