The staff are kind and caring, the environment is great fun for the kids. My son actually asks to go to nursery over the weekend! Probably the best thing about Stanton Farm is the huge garden, which the kids spend a lot of time in during the warmer months. There's good tree cover so that the kids don't get burnt, and the staff are ultra-reliable in insisting on hats and sun cream. It's a shame that a single (questionable) negative review from 8 years ago is still casting a shadow. Having known Stanton farm for many years I'm proud and comfortable in trusting my children to this warm, caring nursery.

Waiting lists can be long, so it best to get your child on there early. They offer full days, and half days at reasonable prices, and have numerous activities that encourage children to learn through play. There are pleantly of staff around, and the children very often get plenty of one on one time with staff members. Snacks are provided every session, always healthy, usually fruit. A progress book is kept up to date of everything the children do, and it is sent home at the end of every term for parents to see the progress too. A very very good pre school :)

Before deciding as a family to no longer attend the school halfway through term, the manager did not hold back on how she felt about my son. When any family is spending quite a sum of CASH and trusting a school to teach and care, the last thing we expected was a manager raising her voice in complaint. In addition, she commented, "now if we can only find out if he is normal enough in social settings" after constant mention in annoyance (on her part) that I needed to get my son looked into by a professional. Of course we received no apology for her unprofessional actions, denying that she ever raised her voice, nor did we receive a refund. Also, the only person my son has no desire to cuddle nor say hello/goodbye is the manager and staff there. Luckily, we were able to get our son attend another school who have confirmed there is nothing wrong with my son and that he is an absolute joy. He now looks forward to going to school, loves to cuddle and say hello/goodbye to all the carers there.
