History
Established in 2009.
PlayBig Digital was founded in 2009 in Huntsville, Alabama, by Scott Seeley, who brought a background in print publications, storytelling, graphic design and digital strategy into building websites and marketing programs for small businesses. In 2020, the company relocated to Monterey, California, while continuing to serve its original Huntsville client base.
Since the move, PlayBig Digital has grown its work on the Monterey Peninsula while maintaining long-standing relationships with businesses back in Huntsville. The name PlayBig reflects the agency's founding philosophy: that a smaller business, given the right strategy, can compete in markets it might not otherwise be able to.
In 2026, PlayBig Digital expanded that approach further down the Central California coast to Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo.
