this beach is the best beach in Algeciras :) I live five…read moreminutes away from it and i gotta say it is totally worth to spend a day at. Its got a mix of paradise beach with mountains on the side. The sand is yellow and powdery and the water is really good. It's a mix of the atlantic ocean along with the mediterannean. They've got beach paddling boats you can rent along with deck chairs and shelter. It's also got restaurant's on the outskirts of the beach, along with a tiny fair that they put for the kids in the summer and a afternoon/night market they put out during the summer. Offering jewellery, clothes and house decorations at a bargain price :)

The entrance is a bit difficult to find as it is between fields with cattle but has a metal entrance arch. One hour from Estepona. One and a half hours from Marbella.

And just down by the harbour, before you will entering the UK soon. The sand isn't exactly golden and there's a busy main street backing it up. But in the evenings (even in summer) it's not really a busy spot, so you might even dare to bring your pet at some quiet corner. But the main reason why we came here was the sunset. It's just a beautiful spot to sit down and watch the sun going down. And with the "Rock" on the left this makes a really good spot to spend a while.

It felt like everyone here was here for one purpose. To lay in the sun and relax. No sooner as you walk on the beach this is all you want to do from morning until you can watch the glorious sun setting in the evening. Depending where you are on the beach you can either be around total quiet or near the restaurant playing music which you can hear in the background. Further down there is a nudist area. You'll know it when you get there! and further on from that is where the surfers hang out. There's miles of beach to walk along and just get lost in your own thoughts, sit and people watch or whatever you choose. A clean beach with no littering and no one trying to sell you anything or harass you for any reason. I'd love to come back it has surely grabbed a piece of my heart! I believe I was there a little prior to the season starting so, maybe it gets a little busier but April was perfect timing.
