This is a very nice beach to visit if you're in Huatulco. On our family vacation to Puerto Escondido we decided to drive the 2 hours to Huatulco to see the local beaches they had to offer. If you have little ones with you this is perfect. The waters are nice and calm and there are restaurants right upfront. When you arrive they immediately approach you haggling you to rent a table or sit at one of their restaurants but you can expect that everywhere in Mexico. We sat at one of the restaurants forgot which one. Ordered some beers and ceviche. Playa La Entrega - Resorts Near Me - Oaxaca, OAX

Playa La Entrega is super chill, time goes by so quickly once you are in the water snorkeling. I have been to many beaches all over Mexico & Hawaii and this beach is in my top 3. We also got a table & umbrella at the beach and ordered drinks and food. Be ready to spend at least $150 if you are here a couple of hours. We got to the beach by boat but you can also get there by land. Of course by boat is so much fun, but either way you get to enjoy La Entrega. This is one of the most famous beaches in Huatulco. It's more than just a beach, there different activities available here, you can do snorkel, ride the "banana", visit the coral reef and see tons of different fishes, my favourite part as skid was swimming here with my dad and stay still so the tiny little fishes came to swim around you. There's many restaurants that basically offer the same, drinks & seafood. After travelling I don't believe their prices are high, good portions, super fresh seafood and you c an enjoy your meals while looking at the ocean, it's awesome you can enjoy a cocktail or ceviche while looking at the sunset. read more

We arrived late morning on a Monday. Not very busy yet, and our taxi driver dropped us off behind the Restaurant La Entrega which avoided the restaurant/vendor guy gauntlet. A few vendors will approach you at the restaurant but mostly leave you alone after giving you their sell. Your in Mexico after all, they are just trying to make a living, be polite and pleasant and you'll receive the same. Playa Entrega is calm enough to have paddle boards. Facing the water, go to the second shop from the end, ask for the paddle boards, they were not outside. Not sure they have really caught on here like elsewhere. Our teens had a blast on them. All the food we ordered was good, great service and they took visa. Prices were higher than in town but typical of most of the beaches. The restrooms were clean at the restaurant. The restaurant called the taxi for us and he picked us up in back. read more

Abusive cashier, they will charge your credit card for the amount they decide not based on what you actually spent on food Food is expensive as if it was Cancun when in reality is a public beach restaurant with flies around you !!!!! read more

Snorkeling here is nice. Go early, before all the boats full of resort guests show up!
