The service was spectacular as well as the açaí bowls. In particular, Huiyee was very kind and is very friendly. I love the surf/summery vibe and style of the place as well. I highly recommend!

The tropical bowl was sweet and felt quite healthy. The service was average, and the interior was pleasant.

I been wanting to try playa bowls since forever and today was the perfect opportunity. I came it at around 5pm and there were a good amount of customers. As soon as you enter the store you are greeted by a lovely atmosphere. The space is not very big, but I would say it is of a decent size and it's also very bright, which I love. The cashier immediately greeted me with a smile, which I really appreciated. As a first timer I decided to go with a classic: the Nutella bowl. I ordered a Nutella bowl but with a base of half açaí and half mango. The service was pretty fast and the sitting area is clean. The bowl tasted to good and fresh. I loved the taste of the açaí way more then the taste of the mango base. The coconut flakes and the Nutella were the perfect addiction to make the bowl taste delicious. I honestly can't wait to be back once the weather gets hotter. (I apologize if my picture is blurry)

Food: Playa is seriously overpriced, even using my birthday voucher with $5 off, I still paid $6.94 for the CHEAPEST bowl. This bowl wasn't even filling, and I didn't like the pitaya nor açaí bowl, it was pretty icy haha but still ate it bc I wanted to get my moneys worth also it was like 91 degrees. Store: What really turned me off was the store. It was DIRTY - despite it being 91 degrees I still would rather sit outside lol than inside that dirty store where there were crumbs everywhere... yuck. Don't think I'd go back.

The Lola bowl is so so good. I'm not a fan of coconut flakes but everything in this bowl works well together. Always my go to!

Nice, aggressively tropic vibe. Had a smoothie which was pricey but large and very good. I accidentally ordered the wrong thing and the staff was kind enough to make me the thing I actually wanted after I corrected myself. Smoothie was made super quickly--makes for a nice thing to pick up and go for a walk. Would definitely return to try their main dishes!

Good acai bowl, easy to access location, had good seating options even with lots of people. I got the pura vida which had generous toppings, but wish I could've gotten more variety of toppings for the price I paid. There were lots of options on the menu

Sooo good! I had the goji Pitaya bowl and it was delicious and filling for what it was. I wish it wasn't so expensive, but everything in Harvard square is. Cashier was very nice. I loved the vibe in there- surf shop energy.

Just had the pitaya Pink Flamingo bowl and had strawberries added. Good stuff. Cute little place. Music way too loud for this old fart. The whole place is loud. But we enjoyed our bowls!

Always a delicious, quick, and healthy meal! My personal favorite is the nutella bowl. Playa bowls always has fresh fruits and granola that doesn't get soggy. Definitely give this place a try!

I love playabowls! I love their huge variety of different bowls you can get, especially their seasonal ones! Their bowls are always super fresh and leave me satisfied. Only complaint is that it is a little pricey but considering the portion and how filling it is, I think it's worth it!

Smoothies are great. Slightly pricey but not horrible. GREAT MUSIC. A+ to whoever was on the aux.

Not a very memorable acai bowl, and I'm a huge acai bowl fan. Doesn't come with a lot of toppings and the acai base doesn't taste great

The Pura Vida bowl is good, just very slow service. And seems a bit overpriced. They took like 15 minutes with my order.

"Alegria" means happiness in Portuguese, and let me tell you, that's exactly what this place delivers. Their specialty? **Acai Bowls** - straight from Brazil, these delicious bowls are packed with fresh ingredients, and you get to customize them exactly how you like! From acai to milkshakes and ice cream, everything is made fresh, and you can even add fun Brazilian treats like **Serenata de Amor** chocolate (a delightful caramel chocolate that adds the perfect touch to their ice cream ). I tried the **strawberry milkshake**, and it was absolutely *delicious* - super fresh, creamy, and worth every sip. Yes, it's on the pricier side, but the quality and freshness of the ingredients make it totally worth it, in my opinion. **Food**: 9/10 **Pricing**: 6/10 (a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for!) **Ambiance**: 7/10 (fun, welcoming vibes with a bubbly font that adds to the charm) If you're craving something fresh, healthy, and oh-so-yummy, do yourself a favor and stop by Alegria Bowls! While there are a ton of pre-made options, I was looking for a more simple bowl so opted to make my own. I got a bowl with strawberries, bananas, kiwi, and mango, and you could tell all the fruit was actually fresh. I also put granola and peanut butter in my bowl. Unlike most places, the peanut butter was drizzled on the top which was a nice surprise. My only suggestion would be to have an option of how much you want drizzled on top since it was a little heavy for my own preference (still delicious). The staff was friendly and even delivered your meal to your table. While there arent a ton of seats inside, we had no issues finding a place to sit, even with another family there. I would come back here and be open to trying other items on the menu as well.

Staff are helpful and moving as fast as they can, but this is just a popular place! I ordered as per the recommendation of my friends an original froyo with the made-in-house mochi and one of the cheesecake options (this time Oreo). Not that everything really tied together in some culinary way (nor does froyo usually anyways), but everything tasted amazing! Froyo is refreshing and just tastes high quality, and the mochi was also fantastic. Is it weird to say that the Oreo cheesecake was the least impressive part? Things are tight in the space, but you can just as easily eat it on the sidewalk outside, but if you get lucky, there's a small sun room with ~6-8 chairs you can eat in with your group. The store is small so there's not room to eat inside. There are some picnic tables open outside depending on season which I've used and seen others sit at. They have a good selection of flavors and toppings, albeit the price is a bit steep. Portions are generous though and the end product is tasty. I like their mochi and cheesecake toppings while the original front flavor is solid. Overall, BerryLine is a great dessert option in the Harvard Square area and I'm sure I'll be back!
