Solid food, pretty reasonable prices, salsa bar is a nice touch. Would definitely come back.

The food was really good. The salsa selection was good but the pico and mango salsa were a bit too heavy on the onion. The service was friendly and the food came to our table within about 10 minutes. The dining area isn't larger so it can fill up quickly.

This is a gem of a place. Coming from Chicago, we had a good share of authentic Mexican cuisine and this place stands out, it exceeded our expectations. The food is delicious, the vibe is great, service is outstanding and salsa bar is to die for. Highly recommend.

Compared to other Mexican restaurants you will pay quite a bit more for the same dish. For example, a seafood chimichanga at Playa Azul is under $25 but here it is $32. All of the dishes were like this which is disappointing and unfortunate. If you are in Kenai or Soldotna and want yummy Mexican cuisine this is a great spot but it will hit your wallet a lot harder than other places in town with the same fare. 4 star food but dropped to 3 for being overpriced.

Their breakfasts and dinners are HUGE, their steak is UNBELIEVABLY tender, and the prices are totally worth it-- their burritos are GIANT--really 2.5 meals. Their veggies are cut of in M-Lg chunks--al dente--so they're toothy Their rice grains are larger and fluffier yet have more flavor than anyone's I've ever tasted--and the Tortilla chips (freshly made) come warm and in a ENORMOUS paper bag! (Watch out if you want HOT salsa!! Ha-cha-Cha!) We loved it and got what we asked for! Beautiful FLAN! The most authentic--topped with light caramel syrup-- HUGE and satisfying!! Save it for breakfast--not toxically sweet--it's a dense pudding texture--authentic--a pure and simple delight! Muy bueno, Los Compadres, Muy bueno! Olé!!

Pretty limited menu, but it was fine because they had biscuits and gravy and I was very excited for that. We went in at 1215, brunch goes until 3pm. I ordered my biscuits and gravy and about 15 min later the waitress told me the only other table in the restaurant (who was seated after us, but order was taken before ours) had ordered "the last full and half order of biscuits and gravy and they were now out" but the waitress didn't "know" that until 15 min after I ordered. I was very disappointed and irritated as when we planned our brunch yesterday I had looked at the menu and had been waiting for those only to be told they were out. I get you only make a certain amount of things sometimes but this isn't the first time something like this has happened to me there, I have them two precious chances and had similar experiences. After she came and told me about the biscuits, it was another 15 min before we got our food. It was about 35 min from the time we ordered until we got our food, they were not busy with only the two tables. The people who came in after us, were seated, ordered, got their food and we're getting boxes before we every got ours and she took our order right after theirs. As much as I like the food and have tried to give this place multiple chances, I will not be returning again.

The place was cranking, the outside patios were full I could see when I drove up. Inside was packed. Picked up a 4 Pack of Limited Edition Hefeweizen then paid at the Bar. Let's just say AMAZING! Say Farmer's Friend Beer Cheese! There's Some TANG in that CHEESE! On Nachos we dusted those off and with the Hefeweizen beer it was so perfect of a pairing! Sometimes a restaurant does something so right and you just know you made the right choice, so oh yeah that's their Nacho Average Nachos!

The crowd here is a bit more "mature" than Kenai which is good as we fit in. It's good a cool retro vibe within. And here, there is table service. Also more mature. Generally a great experience with the waitresses who were attentive but busy. Food available is mostly pizzas and the like. The pizzas were very good. One in my group said it was the best pizza he ever had. Of course, he's from OC so opinion might be a bit off They have several beer choices and all of them are distinct to the brewery. Farmer was enjoyed by me.
