You can rent your snorkeling gear here but bring your own towels. It seems that most people come by excursion boat but there is also parking or you can just say to your taxi driver, "take me to the best beach". There are always taxis to take you back again. There is a new rule against having beach chairs on the beach but you can always sit oceanside at one of the restaurants and enjoy a cerveza and stuffed pineapple. (Seriously . . . . be sure to have one of these!)

After our wedding, my husband and I decided to rent a Catamaran to take all of our guests on a bay tour. We rented the Tequila Catamaran which took us all around Huatulco and dropped us off in a private virgin beach. Before heading to this private tour, the crew of the boat recommended all of our guests to rent snorkeling equipment from a small shop located inside the Bahia de Santa Cruz, which was really affordable. Something that I think is pretty funny about this port, is that they have a small gas station next to the water to fill up all of the small fishing boats that come in.
