To me this is the best public beach in Hualtuco. Besides the snorkeling in clear, warm water there is great food and the beaches are not crowded. You can rent your snorkeling gear here but bring your own towels. It seems that most people come by excursion boat but there is also parking or you can just say to your taxi driver, "take me to the best beach". There are always taxis to take you back again. There is a new rule against having beach chairs on the beach but you can always sit oceanside at one of the restaurants and enjoy a cerveza and stuffed pineapple.
