Honestly, I get so many compliments on my clothes that I bought from goodwill. I've found some really nice things for my kids too. The workers are always nice and friendly even though the last time my daughters acted like two velociraptors let loose in a pixie stick factory. I really enjoy coming here. You never know what you'll find! I'm Not obsessed with labels, I just want to look nice and be comfortable. I think all pricing is fair and kids clothes are always a great price. Heck I found a Tommy Bahamas kids dress for my daughter, and the most perfect holiday cocktail dress for me. I'm hooked! Also, no one cares if your clothes come from Goodwill and neither do your kids. Shoot, they found a stuffed mermaid there for $1.00 and they've been obsessed with it for three years. What I really enjoy is finding things that remind me of my childhood, like the giant clothespin reindeer I found. I have no doubt it was hand made. I snatched it up. It's a giant version of an ornament I made in kindergarten that my parents still have. You can really find some treasures here if you look hard enough.

I walked away with only paying $20 bucks for four platters, 2 glass bowls, brand new never opened 2 boxes of Christmas lights and a happy wallet. Makes me wonder what kind of trauma they must've experienced. Well, you asked me to explain my comment...Rebecca kicked out a 20 yr dealer and expected them to vacate before their paid rent was up. She banned one of the couple from returning to the store, leaving only one person to pack up and move. Upon attempting to vacate, they were told it had to be removed by end of day. The owner of the booth, feeling extreme stress, had a massive heart attack and died. Their name is Eakin. Check it out. Bill DIED because of the horrid treatment from Mr Rivitch. I pray for your soul. The owners, the Rivitches, of course can kick out any dealers they want to. However, why do it in such a mean hateful way? In every case, they created a conflict as a reason to vacate dealers. Just say "hey, we want this space now so leave in 30 days". But NO, it had to be get out of here by 5pm tomorrow night. Just nasty and evil.

I noticed some comments about not helping load large items. As a mall owner myself, I understand that many employees are not able to lift heavy items and buyers should understand this. It is also a liability for small businesses to help load large furniture items. If the item gets damaged or a vehicle gets damaged during loading, the customer often tries to place blame on mall as opposed to accepting responsibly. We highly recommend this mall. We drive over 4 hours several times a year to visit here.

He said he would call me in the morning after he checked if it was there. I said it was an inconvenience because I live 14 miles away so it was a 28 mile round-trip for me to come and get it if it was there. No apology on his part. End of conversation. The next morning he called me and said the vase was there. I said I would come and get it. When I got there and he was putting the vase in the bag, he said "they tried to run after you, but they couldn't catch you." That was it. Still no apology, so: Me: No apology? Him: 14 miles is not far. (This is how I knew he was the same person I talked to last night). Me: It's a 28 miles round-trip plus the time, gas, and the inconvenience. Him: Do you want the vase or not? What a terrible way to treat a 30 year customer, or anyone for that matter. A simple apology for the error would have been the correct way to handle the situation. Needless to say, I'm done with Coachman Antique Mall.

After a long day of work I raced to get there on a time crunch and made it 10 minutes before closing. I understand the irritation of a customer showing up right before closing, But in my case I was locked out and told "we are closed for the day". To which I did respond that they claim they were open for 10 more minutes, and that I knew exactly what I came in for and where it was. For it would take me less than 2 minutes to pay and get out of there. The little mean old lady told me "nope, nope. Too bad we are closed" and slammed the door in my face. Its wild to me any place treat a paying customer like that.
