If you are looking to buy or sell in Columbia Gorge or nearby, look no further than Tonya Flory…read morewith Cheri Belander Real Estate. Tonya is beyond amazing. She is professional, responsive, and knows the area like no other. She will give you unbiased and comprehensive advice and support you throughout the process. Tonya helped my husband and I purchase a home in Stevenson. Let me share some examples of Tonya going above and beyond. 1. When I first called Tonya, I caught her on a camping trip. She not only responded to my call but even stopped by a house we were interested in on her way home! 2. She went to see multiple homes on our behalf when my husband and I couldn't get away and walked us through homes on video chat. 3. When we saw the perfect home that was extremely overpriced, Tonya convinced the selling agent to talk to his clients about a more realistic number. We purchased a home thousands of dollars below listing price and inline with comps. 4. We tacked on a land sale which created some additional complexity. Tonya and the loan officer navigated us through the process like pros! All in, we couldn't be more impressed (and trust us, we can be tough customers). You will not go wrong with Tonya as your realtor.

She showed up with all the paperwork ready, asked all the right questions, immediately placed the sign in the yard and the box on the door. By nightfall, she had completed an excellent online listing with great photos. By the next night she had showed the property twice and my Mother had accepted an offer. She assisted my Mother in handling any items that needed done during the sale process and the entire transaction was completed in well under 2 months! I don't know how anyone could have done it better.

She didn't waste our time and was fast when it came to the paperwork and communicating. There were a few hiccups along the way, but that wasn't really her fault and if someone was making the process go slower or lying to us (which happened a few times) she called them out on it. She is very helpful still being new to the area and I know I can always count on her if I have a question or need anything. Her assistant was also very helpful when my mom and I came up to do some measurements. It was nice to get someone else's opinion about the schools, the community etc. She has a young child too and was super helpful! When it comes time down the road to see our home we will be using Jenn for sure!

Maui was not only a good buyer's agent for me, but incredibly knowledgeable when it came to questions regarding building. HIGHLY recommended! Thank you, Maui.

He knows the housing market, he immediately understood what we were looking for, he knew every house that was advertised in The Dalles, and was willing to spend many hours with us to find the perfect house. He knows the business side of the process inside and out and was always able to answer our questions. The ability that sets him far above anyone else I've ever worked with is that I truly felt that I was the only person he was working with. When I called, he was almost always available. If he wasn't available, he messaged me to say when he would get back to me AND he always did. When the inspection report was negative, he helped me get past my anger and disappointment. He is always so positive!!! I was so impressed that I asked him to help me sell my house in Portland. Even though that's 90 miles away, he was able to help me get my house on the market with great pictures, the right price and we sold the property very quickly. The buyers were difficult and their realtor was dragging his feet. Cody's people skills made the difference between a happy sale and a lost sale. If I could nominate him for realtor of the century, I would.

l John Scott is the only business in town. So if you want to rent you have literally no choice and…read morethey abused this Monopoly to a truly shocking extreme. you can expect them to try and charge you for it literally everything and provide absolutely no service on anything. If something is broken on the property when you move in do not expect them to ever voluntarily come in and fix it expects to spend literally months or even years fighting with them to come and fix something as simple as an air conditioner or a dishwasher that hasn't worked since you moved in. Also make sure you take photos of literally everything take notes make them sign papers or acknowledging the current state, in writing, when you move in. Because any time you attempt to have maintenance come out and fix something they will bend over backwards to attempt to blame you for literally anything including an act of God and they will try to charge you for it. Unless you have a lawyer on retainer expect them to just plain lie and charge you for things in complete disregard of any law or legal statute because, the people who are actually handling the phones and the desk have zero training and have just been told to do things and have no idea whether they're breaking the law or not they're just afraid of their supervisor yelling at them for spending too much money on a property.
