I noticed that Mr. James has earned the respect of the people at the airport. He was right on time assisted me with my heavy bags and told me about the interesting tours on the island. He showed kindness to a lady whose ride neglected to pick her up and he asked me if it was okay, absolutely! My Dad always taught us one hand washes the other, and they both wash your face. When the limousine arrived it wasn't the limousine that I had originally picked out for my daughter. The limousine was VERY dirty inside and out. The limousine looked like it had been in previously accidents. The kids and my adult cousin said the heater didn't work, the driver couldn't drive properly. It took him an hour to pick up three extra people in the area. Keeping in mind I only had the service for two hours. He was on the phone the ENTIRE time including upon arrival which i witness myself. He sit and hesitated both times "pick up and drop off" to open the door for the girls which had to be address. He didn't know how to work the cd player so that the girls can listen to their music. He ignore my adult cousin several time when she kept trying to give him direction. Again on the phone. I called the owner which is sooo UNPROFESSIONAL kept stating that he didn't remember the conversation that we had about me paying to rent this particular limousine which he and I and My daughter looked in together in the pouring rain. The only limousine that she and I was interested in because of the ceiling colorful lights, drinking glasses and a newer limousine which he stated he had just gotten, not to mention I brought non alcoholic beverages for the kids to drink, but again NO glasses in the wrong limousine. The owner act as if he didn't give a sh*t. I ask if he had a copy of the receipt he then said he is out of town. bull crap! And just kept saying he didn't remember the conversation we had about this particular limousine and that he didnt write it down.. How do you know if you are out of town with no receipt? Such a lier. THE ONLY LIMOUSINE WE LOOKED IN! The one she and I was very well interested in that I payed for. Don't know if he is suffering from dementia or Alzheimer's but he needs to own up and accept his responsibility for his mistake as a man and be honest. It's not about the money it's more so about the poor poor limousine service and my daughter happiness.

Beaufort, SC is a beautiful little town with a dynamic waterfront park that features a breathtaking…read moreview, exciting historic sites, and delicious local cuisine to enjoy. But, in my opinion as a world traveler, its major shortcoming is the lack of easily accessible public transportation for sightseeing, dining, and shopping purposes. Somehow, that didn't show up in its rave reviews by national magazines, and online tourism rating sites. Although it may take a few minutes longer than expected for its drivers to show up--due to high demand, Beaufort Cab Company provides reliable and courteous service in a popular tourist destination with few transportation options. Beaufort Cab drivers like Allison are both very friendly and knowledgeable about the best entertainment and dining venues, and pointed out interesting historical sites during our rides. It was almost like getting a free mini-tour! It's a great company to do business with. So, they've earned a 5-star rating from me and my family. Theodore J. Williams, III
