Mark was especially helpful giving us hiking tips and general info. Our room was on the top floor, number 6, facing the river - what a great view! Everything was quite clean, nicely furnished and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast the first morning was okay, but as we were finishing, I heard another guest raving about the "avocado toast" he had yesterday. Hmm...we weren't advised about this dish. The next morning, I asked, "Do you have avocado toast?" Sweet Emily replied, "Oh yes, I always forget about the specials - let me check." As it turned out, the avocado toast was one of the BEST dishes I had during my two week travels in Wales & the UK (I know you're thinking..."Wales & UK?") Ask a Welshman. In all, our stay was excellent and if Paul McCartney stays at Plas Tan y Graig, then it's good enough for me - see photo in dining room on fireplace mantle. Hostess did so much to make our stay comfortable, including parking her car out front to stake us a parking space for arrival on a narrow crowded street. Gave us a lot of helpful info on where to eat dinner, visiting the castle that is main attraction, and getting around & into the nearby park. Breakfast was extensive, well prepared & generous. Highly recommended, if/when we return we would definitely stay here again.

It's a cute little (and a bit dated) Chinese but the staff were so friendly and helpful, the food was gorgeous and there was plenty of it. The staff even helped show us how to make napkin fleur de lis while we waited for food to arrive. We had the worlds pickiest teenager with us and she's decided we need to move here because its the best Chinese in the world. Honestly, if she can be pleased, then a good job has been done. If you like Chinese and fed up of the usual bar meals (everything with chips) that's quite common here, then this is def the place to go.
