This was the most convenient way ever to buy a citrus tree.Or any other kind of fruit tree for that matter. They had so many to choose from.It took me a while to narrow it down and I got the new improved meyer lemon dwarf tree. Is my family and I are so happy. It even came with fruit. The delivery driver was courteous and friendly and on time. As I looked at other websites this was the best deal I found and i'm so happy I went with Plants Express. Thank you PLANTS EXPRESS from the Marsall Fam!!! read more

Avocado tree arrived looking ok, but died very shortly there after. Customer service was TERRIBLE. No help, no attempt to make it right. Another tree in the same order did fine, I got a bad tree and they just gave me the run around. DO NOT RECCOMEND BUYING FROM THIS COMPANY! read more

Plants were delivered via their own truck driver and the plants were beautiful and healthy! Definitely will buy from them again!

I just read the reviews for Plants Express and while some are way old, I'm SHOCKED!! I ordered a kumquat tree because no one else had them in stock. It arrived quickly and was so green, healthy and beautiful I had to fight myself not to order more as I didn't have much room left after planting over 100 trees. The kumquat was as described, delivered during hot weather and is doing great. I put it in the ground and it's flowering and happy. Decided to get one more about a month later as well as 2 little miss figgy's. Again, so healthy, green, shiny and pretty. The kumquat has at least 50 fruits on it with more developing. The figs, considering they're a dwarf fig, were large, happy and lots of good placed branches with figs already growing. I planted them right away and can't wait for them to keep growing. I am banning myself from their site for now, because I already know these trees are such great quality I'll buy more if I look. After purchasing from at least 7 online retailers and 4 in person nurseries, I'd rate Plants Express either #2 or tied with #1.. it's hard to compare the two top online retailers as they are completely different tree vendors with different sizes. I don't know what's up with the other reviews but whoever is running the shop now knows what they're doing. I'll probably be back on their site again sometime next week. read more

After delivery during one of the worst droughts in CA history, I watched the lavender and the rosemary very carefully, to be sure they didn't die. I did not plant them into the parched ground, knowing that I could keep them alive more easily in a pot - for a while. They all died. The rosemary plants died DESPITE sitting next to a large potted rosemary that was thriving then and is still thriving - and has NEVER been planted into the ground. Yet, when I contacted Plants Express, I was chastised for: failing to plant them into the ground "right away;" being unable to "offer proof" as to how they were cared for; and - get this - OVERWATERING them! We were on water rationing! For the first time in my life, I did not shower daily. TMI, I know, but I am one of those people who always went from the bed to the shower, no matter what. I'm bathing every other day, and someone thinks I'm overwatering plants?? They were sorry looking in the first place, but I'm pretty good at saving sick plants. Not these. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!! read more

I purchased plants from Plant Express. I posted a negative review because the 5 gallon schrubs look like they should be in one gallon pots. I was contacted that day by Justin Brooks from Plant Express. He offered to send out replacement plants. On the day the replacement plants were to be delivered I got a call saying they forgot to put the replacement plants in the van. The driver showed up at my house wanting the original plants back Instead of replacing them. I checked their website and my review has been deleted. Beware!! read more

I ordered plants from Plants Express on 2 occasions for 2 different houses. The first time, I was happy with their plants and pricing. The second more-recent time, I was really shocked how small the plants were that arrived. I ended up returning a few. Their pigmy palm trees are more than $400 each but the ones that Home Depot sells are less than $200 and twice as big. Same with the Asparagus Ferns--tiny little inept plants delivered from Plants Express. I was disappointed to later see less expensive and larger ones at both Lowes and Home Depot. Plants Express service is good. The people are nice. But honestly, you can get better/larger/cheaper plants elsewhere. read more

Been in business for over a decade and used various companies to move our plants. I have never left a 1 Star rating for any company before. Plants Express, LLC succeeded in providing the worst possible service experience ever. read more
