The young man at the counter gave us red tape to mark the rock we wanted. We went out and marked the rocks and he asked that we come back in when we were done to tell him which five rocks we put the red tape on. Then after all that, he told us they would try to get to them today, to weigh them, and that they are very busy today. We explained we weren't from the area and needed to pick the rock up today. We also called a bit after we left to check on the progress and were again told how busy they are today. Several hours later we received a voice message that said they don't sell the rocks separately. When we called called back to talk to someone, we were told the rocks were not sold separately and we had to buy the whole pallet for $4,000. We told them that we felt the communication of misinformation was unprofessional. We didn't get a chance to explain further as the woman on the phone laughed at our remark. To not explain the process correctly in the beginning, we feel also wasted our time and has stalled our landscaping project. I am going to tell everyone I know in Butte not to use Wagner's.

We told her we had called and been told 5:30 and she immediately interrupted and said " They said 4:00. Four is when we are closing", turned her back on us and walked away. One suggestion, please make sure that your sign, your webpage and your staff are all in agreement on closing time. One comment - It is fine to close the gate at 4:00 is that is your closing time. It is fine to be tired after what I am sure was a very busy weekend. However, it is never okay to just be rude. So to the gray haired lady with the large sunhat - its good to know there are lots of other businesses who sell the same products you sell there. We won't be back.

Treated like a second class person because I interrupted their "event" and grilled at the entrance about what I was doing there. Seriously? I could not park in the regular lot (there was plenty of room) and was sent to the event parking which was full. Plus, they have a small area set up for kids. He likes to go visit their chickens and I love that they have beehives on the property. I like that they feature a local artist and have a display at the front of the store. I bought a shirt that the current artist on display had done. Very unique design. I also bought two Montana magnets here. They had a great selection and the best price I found. I also bought another shirt here that had a nice Montana scene on the front. I will seek out this store again when I return!
