What a fantastic place! Despite the name "plantorama", there really is a lot more here than your typical nursery. They carry a very wide selection, and are basically an all around plant, pet supply and garden center rolled into one. Inside, you'll find a huge selection of accessories for pets, everything from birds and small mammals (rabbits, chickens, hamsters, etc.) to dogs, cats and even fish. Also inside is a wide selection of indoor planters from top brands like Scheurich, along with some interior decor and even patio furniture (upstairs). If you venture into their outdoor/garden section, you'll be greeted with an enormous selection of plants, ranging from indoor to outdoor and including everything from succulents to carnivorous plants. What's more, they have a very good selection of top quality garden tools, including Wolf-Garten, a German brand and my personal favorite. I didn't have much room in my suitcase, but I still snagged a few choice items here, including their professional anvil-style pruners and their small hand rake (both of which I had been unable to locate state side). I could have bought a lot more, had I room and weight in the suitcase, but that will have to wait for next time. If you're in the neighborhood or shopping at the adjacent Bauhaus home improvement store, you really have to drop in and check this place out. The gardening tool and plant selection is worlds apart and they carry far more Wolf-Garten here than in Bauhaus. Everything was well stocked, all the plants looked fantastic and the entire place was about as close to garden center nirvana as it gets. I wish I had found this place sooner and can't wait to go back on my next trip to Denmark and throw more of my money at them. read more

I've needed a new watch for a while and window shopping led me to a purchase in this quaint little store. The owner/operator, Flemming, was very easy to work with and was able to source the particular model I was after in only a few days. We returned to have it custom fitted and set and the transaction could not have been smoother. Outstanding service and a wonderful "corner shop" feel to this place, I will definitely be making future purchases here on my next visit!

I went to Dr. Adams, and the very competent and friendly woman quickly showed me the various options. All the way through, she assisted me in any aspect of the purchase, and helped with my questions, "concerns" and considerations.. The store itself has a lot of high-end brands, and the suit from Filipa K was also not cheap (3900,- DKK) but it's super high quality, absolutely great, and with a service like this, I'm happy to pay a little more.. The suit fits perfect, and I'm sure I'll come back to Dr. Adams next time I'm around!
